LAY CALM
The stream flows with a gentle speed
The tortoise's walks are so slow
Yet it always has a clear mind
One focused to its a simple goal
Of it's a long yet lonely journey.
Calm at thought it walks
With no impression of the world
For each of them holds a thought
Clam in all the world they think
Saying it's the best for your life
Yet they use it not to rise.
Lay calm in that stream my love
Though it flows at a slow pace
It will still wash away your sorrow
To leave you with a cheerful smile
Lay calm in the shallow stream my love
For its pure and clean
More like a white washed sieve
To filter off all the pending anger
And wash away the rumor bearers
Forgetting the poor mentors not
For their words are real poison
One that weakens your heart and mind
Digging a gab between our love life
For our tears delight them
That they put in much effort
To see us tumbling down.
Listen to them not my love
For their words are bitter
Even beyond the bitter pepper
For they have narrowed their paths
That hold their future precept
And now crave for company
Clam to leave them in charge
Walking deathly with smiles
As though they hold all in hand
For their unvarnished role is now set
And never for ounce will it change.
