[8] - Explosion

In the midst of Alice's introduction, a wave of the explosion went through everyone as a loud soundwave passes through everyone's ears.

"AAHH!!"

"W-What the?!"

Xander slightly opened his dreamy eyes and noticed a peculiar car in the middle of the traffic burning after an explosion. He frowned whilst thinking.

'This is obviously an assassination. If it was an act of terrorism, then a bus carrying more than twenty people would be better.' However not everyone has the same mental fortitude as Xander, everyone was either panicking or anxious, like Alice.

Xander obviously noticed that Alice left him here whilst thinking that he was a Princess. He sighed on this whilst also thinking.

'Seems like the reputation of the Royal Family of United Kingdom is much more important than a member of it... Well obviously.'

The biggest reason why Royal Families in the whole world were being overthrown left and right was because of two things. Someone didn't like them or someone has a big ego.

Fortunately for the UK's Royal Family, they were loved by the population as well as no one was thinking of even overthrowing them. Why? Because of maintaining their reputation, they wouldn't even hesitate to sacrifice a monarch for it.

This is also a reason why there was only less than 10% of nobles left.

'This knight, Alice must be thinking that 'Princess Lionheardt's' sacrifice would boost the Royal Family's reputation. 'A sacrifice for the betterment of all'.' Xander again sighed.

Xander looked straight into the explosion and saw Alice leading some people, like go away or something. It was obvious that no one except the people inside of the car was injured, but nonetheless, everyone still panicked.

"T-This is an act of terrorism!!"

"H-Help!!"

Everyone who was watching tooked their phones with them and started recording, Xander sighed again seeing this that instead of them helping people calm down, they were instead spreading panic and unrest to the internet.

Sirens of multiple cars started roaring as everyone started making some space for them to enter, this includes firetrucks, police vehicles, ambulances, and even helicopters started roaming around. Xander facepalmed seeing this, there was even a nearby reporter with her cameramen who started making news.

["This is live in London, Kingsland Road. As everyone could see, an explosion just happened a minute ago without any signs of struggle, it was as if the explosion was an intentional ploy of a third party! Nearby witnesses say that the car just exploded instantly, without any signs of smokes or anything. Xander then raised his eyebrows seeing a peculiar scene, an elegant-looking woman suddenly approached the blonde Alice and started helping her. Xander thought that she was another knight with the blood of Nobility in her veins since she was very graceful in moving.

However, he happen to see hostility in everyone's eyes here except Alice, who was looking at her normally, as if they were colleagues.

'Hmm... I wonder what history that woman has.'

However, this woman had a frosty demeanor behind her eyes seeing everyone looking at her with some kind of prejudice. But she soon found a unique guy not looking at her weirdly, he has blonde hair that almost signifies the Lionheardt Family.

"Princess Lionheardt, thank goodness you're still safe." Alice said whilst sighing, she then unsheathed her sword whilst making the Frosty Woman frown.

Everyone's ears widen hearing this, even the police from behind were shocked. The reporters, on the other hand, have started preparing their kits again trying to make news about it.

"T-That's the Princess?!"

"The Princess is here! We're saved!!"

"... She looks more like a Prince than a Princess."

"I'm not a lesbian but she does look like a total hottie, my pudding from below is starting to cu-."

"Shut up! Lewd Woman!"

Xander sighed as he quickly escaped, but he still noticed how the two knights has been starting to follow him... As well as the crowds of people.

'I-I shoulnd't have left the apartment!' Xander thought with deep regret.

A feast was prepared at a long table, but weirdly enough, there were only five chairs around it with only three people sitting in it.

"..." Pindrop silence was in the vicinity, even the clanging of the silverware utensils weren't available. it was obvious that instead of having the warm atmosphere of a normal family, the situation shows how awkward was it.

This was normal in the Royal Family, ever since the whole world was known, troubles kept on coming to the Royalties. Their nobles wanted to travel and create their own Kingdoms, people from tribes wanted to overthrow them, and now there were 5 Countries that could decimate their entire country, they were naturally wary of each other. Why?

Schemes.

Although no one wanted to overthrow the ruling king, what about its own family members? From the Heirs assassinating their own Father just to inherit the throne, or killing his own siblings to become the Crown Prince instantly.

The modern Era was very dangerous since instant communication existed. No one knows that a Prince of the Country might be negotiating with another country's Military Leader. No one knows.

"... Where are the others?" The king with black hair asked whilst looking at his wife. The only woman he has ever trusted.

"Prince Arthur is learning swordsmanship with Sir Kay... Princess Le Fay is studying magics too deeply in her bedchambers... Whilst the 1st Princess is... Er-." An attendant said.

"What?"

"The P-Princess is currently trending in the news."

The king narrowed his eyes whilst asking.

"Why is she?"

"... An accident happened in Kingsland Road where the Princess was nearby... But the problem was."

"What?"

The attendant was panicking, she didn't know how to report it. Nevertheless, the Queen gave her a reassuring smile.

"The Priness is crossdressing as a ma-"

*Slam!!* Someone suddenly slammed their fist into the table, which nearly made it fly if the King wasn't resting his palms on the table.

"... So you're telling me that the 1st Princess of the Lionheardt Family is crossdressing! Father! This is a serious crime to the Family! It may cause our downfall, I suggest to 'eliminate' her much earlier than making her roam free!!" The blacked-haired prince shouted hysterically.

The King and the Queen sighed as both envy and greed were in their son's eyes, he wasn't even hiding it.

"... Is this true?" The King asked.

"N-No.. It wasn't confirmed yet but Dame Zuberg of the Integrity Knights and Dame Lawrence of the Favonius Knights are currently chasing her."

The King knew that there were many variables here, especially since the 1st Princess was only a 12-Years-Old. She wasn't supposed to be allowed to roam around, even inside of their own Territory.

"...What does the kid looks like?"

"T-the 'target' has golden blond hair just like Princess, and the same blue eyes, but he are much darker in color. He is also wearing some luxurious noble clothes with jewelry and gold ornaments around his clothes as well as a 'Clockwatch' hanging around his pants."

The King nodded in deep analysis, it was indeed like his 1st daughter. from the hair and eyes to their habit of bringing a 'Clockwatch' everywhere. He naturally sighed and let the attendant go. He then looked at his wife where she said,

"Seems like Xandra Lionheartd is in deep trouble. I wonder how her father, the King would react to this." The Queen teased.
