"Oh, really? I thought I only slept for like 5 minutes, I guess it was longer than that then." Fumiko said as she rubbed her eyes a little while still staying in Yuki's arms as she was very comfortable in that position, which Yuki found amusing and cute at the same time.
"Well… you can't really tell time when you are asleep, you might feel that you have been sleeping for a long time, or maybe you felt that you slept for a short time, but in reality, it is the opposite. So it's not really that shocking." Yuki shrugged it off like it was nothing since it was just the nature of living beings when they were asleep.
Fumiko just nodded her head, but this time she didn't sleep anymore and she just enjoyed the cold breeze hitting her skin as they flew above the sky. No one really talked anymore on their way back, but all of that changed when Yuki saw a woman that she never wanted to see again.
About 300 meters away from her house, she saw the old woman at the Library, Skadi. Now she was sure that Skadi knew who she was, at least that's what she thought, because for her she still thinks that it is impossible for even a past Queen who has lived for more than a hundred thousand years. This woman would never come to her if she didn't know that she was hiding some secret, so when she saw her, she immediately released her Profound Chaos to sense if there was any more. She wanted to see if she had brought the Royal Family to capture her, but she sensed that there was only a handful of people there.
"I'm sorry Fubuki, but can you go to sleep again?" Yuki said without any warning to Fumiko and she hit her to knock her out because she couldn't risk anything with her being outside, if she was proficient like Diana, or Cindy, she wouldn't be that bothered since she knew that she could fight for herself. But in this kind of situation, it is different, because they are going against a God from a Higher Tier of Heaven.
"Skadi, what do you want?" Without any fear in her, Yuki flew straight down in front of Skadi and asked her directly without fear. Her words even shocked the other 3 people who were with Skadi and seeing their reaction was a confirmation from Yuki that all of them were part of the Royal Family, or at least they personally knew Skadi, and that just confirmed that things were getting more serious and dangerous. She truly made the right choice of hiding Fumiko.
"Oh come on, it feels like it was just yesterday when you called me grandma, and now you call me by my name," Skadi said in a regrettable voice while looking at Yuki with a sad face that would make anyone pity her, but it was nothing in front of Yuki. She couldn't care less about her.
"Stop playing, what the hell do you want from me? I know that you know my real age, or else you wouldn't be standing by my house right now. Now, go straight to the point, what do you want with me?" Yuki went straight to the point as she was getting tired of waiting and only wanted to get this over with. She knows that these people wouldn't do something to her because she has something that they have never seen before, which was already a Spirit Gathering Vampire at just one year old.
Her actions only piqued Skadi even more, because never have she seen a person who would dare to act like that with her other than Yuki now. She was the very first person to act like that with her because even some of her friends never acted like that because they knew how powerful she was and her background. So they never dared to act disrespectfully around her, but now Yuki was doing exactly that.
But instead of getting angry, it would make Skadi even more fascinated about her, because for her it was like some fresh air. Because being the type of person she was where everyone knew her, it was hard to live a normal life, and that is why she lives like she is now. So she really didn't find Yuki's actions to be disrespectful at all.
"Well, it seems that you are colder than what I expected, despite only being a year old, it just seems that you know too much. But since you want it, I'll be more direct. Are you a reincarnator?" Now it was Yuki's turn to be shocked because never would she expected Skadi to think that she was a reincarnation, but when she thinks about it again, the stories that Fumiko was telling tell that reincarnation and transmigrator are a normal occurrence.
"You can think what you want, but just get straight to the point. Look, I don't care who you are, but if there is something I hate, it is that I don't want my time getting wasted." Yuki couldn't finally hold it in any longer and cursed which made Skadi a bit shocked, but it only meant one thing, she was right about her.
"Okay, my apologies for that. Then let's get straight to the point, do you want to be my disciple?" Yuki had an idea what Skadi would want for her and she didn't think that she would be right, she already had a guess that Skadi wanted her to be her disciple, but she thought that she wanted more than just that.
"Are you joking with me? Me going to be your disciple? Let me tell you this, there is no one in this life that can be my Master, I guess apart from that one woman, but she's dead already. Plus what can you even teach me? For your information, if you let me fight with your royal family's strongest knight with even grounds, I'll devour that guy." Yuki said coldly and arrogantly as she looked straight into Skadi's eyes mockingly.
She just laughed it off like it was nothing because she knew that there was nothing that this woman could teach her, whether it was physical combat or magic combat, there was nothing. But just like what Yuki said, there is only one person whom she wouldn't mind being a disciple of, and it was the Cursed Demon Goddess, she was more interested in her. Especially her curse powers, because the Skill that she got from her was already so powerful.
"Well, we will see about that. Now, for once I know that you also have an Ice Element with you, which is actually quite fascinating because I actually have the same, as for your Blood Element, naturally, I have those. Now why don't you let me do some things with those two and let you be the judge if you actually want to learn from me, what do you say?" Skadi said confidently as if she already knew that Yuki was going to be her disciple.
