Sin Free Someone

As Captain Janet kept staring at me, my eyes were stuck on the male behind her. Her eyebrows shot close.

"Are you ignoring me deliberately, Roxy?" She asked.

"No, I wasn't." I was trying to force my gaze back but...damn.

My eyes widened as I followed the movements of the male.

A scathe like tall, venomous blade on his back. The sound of its electromagnetic click reverberated in my heart.

He had ashy brown hair, messy yet styled uniquely. He was around 6'5 tall, for sure. He looked huge and so, so charming.

The ladies who entered before him giggled to themselves.

Yet he stayed nonchalant.

"Roxy. Roxy!" Akira was picking on my dress from behind to get my attention. But how could I? I didn't want to lose sight of this man. At all.

"Wha— Roxy! Come back here!" Akira whisper yelled, but I was already gone. Sprinting away in my casual clothes to...him.

I was sure to keep my eyes and senses connected with his figure. But his power seemed to be limitless.

He managed to escape my gaze, too. The gaze of the Devil's Daughter...

What was he exactly? Why was he so powerful and why was his aura so...pure? Despite how he looked - like a reaper of a sort - his aura was the purest I've ever seen.

"Roxy...! Get back inside, right— oh~!"

Akira crumbled to his knees when I cast a simple spell on him. He lay flat on the road as my eyes focused on the dark sky.

It was going to pour. And I hated getting drenched. Before that happens, I had to find this man and at least...ask his name.

Maybe acquaint myself with him.

My eyes widened when a silhouette stood over the rooftop. It was starting to pour!

"Bullocks." I cursed, having no time to cast a spell to stop the rain because I could lose sight of this man! His aura glowed, making it easy for me to trace him but MAN was he fast! He was lightning on his feet.

"Huh!?" I tilted my head, standing on top of a roof in the middle of Model Town.

"I don't mean to pry,

But...are you following me?"

The deep, sonorous voice of the man was heard behind me. My hair was soaking wet by the time I turned around.

And there he stood.

Against the gradient of city lights on his back, standing on one leg and arms folded. Upon looking closely, I noticed he rested his weight on his humongous sword behind. I was intrigued.

When he got no answer from me, he titled his head.

"Do I know you?"

Certainly not.

"Impossible..." I muttered under my breath.

When the lightning struck, a thunderclap brightening the sky for a fraction of a second, I saw his bold features.

His resemblance to the man I once loved was uncanny.

"Sijna..." I muttered unconsciously. Curiosity filled him. Jumping down the thin wall, the man approached closer. He knew I meant no harm, especially when I was so starstruck by his presence.

"So you're a fan girl." He assumed. What was a 'fan girl'? A girl who blows the fan to serve her beloved? Must be.

"Not exactly." I quickly denied.

He chuckled. "What are you then? A mysterious presence." He said, lifting his hand to touch a strand of my hair.

"I'm...I'm...' I couldn't help the stutter. It came on its own. How could I explain him that he looked like the only human I ever loved since the stone age?

"So you're a fish." He pointed and chuckled once again.

"Well, you don't seem to know me. Even if you do, let me introduce myself then." The man took few steps back, a wild look in his eyes. The vulgarity, the rigor...it was such an uncanny resemblance!

"Lord and Shifter Hunter Grandmaster -

My name is....CYRUS."
