"Something might be wrong," Jael said, calling Eric, and he picked on the second ring. "What is it, Eric?"

"How did it go?" Eric asked to buy time.

"Good. What is it? That's not why you called, right?" Jael asked. Her heart was pumping so fast and loud.

"I can't explain over the phone. Can you come home?" Eric asked.

"Yeah," Jael said. "I will be there by morning."

Arnold and Carina were in Arnold's car heading to the restaurant where they were to meet Bill. Arnold had finally arranged the meeting after striking a deal with Carina.

"What confession did you want to tell me?" Arnold had asked Carina before.

"I will only tell you after I have met Bill," Carina had answered back.

"Really, is this some sort of trade now?" Arnold asked, amused.

"I guess so," Carina answered, smiling.

"I guess I will have to do it then," Arnold answered.
