Chapter 5.

Megumi came back and told Arthur that he can go in to take a look at her. He closed the door and just stood there at the doorpost looking at her.Her light blue hair strewn across the pillow,her skin colour,paler than usual,her fingernails and lips too.

You could see her big belly being covered by the sheets. She looked like a fragile porcelain doll.

Arthur got close to the bed and sat on the arm chair next to it. He shook while trying to hold her hand.Arhur's shaky and worried voice said,El.....please,you have to wake up! You can't leave me all alone like this! I've never been cheesy like this but...I was in the darkness for as long as I can remember but when you appeared.....you were like the sun.....even more. You brought light into my life. He sobbed and continued,Did you know that we are like the moon and stars,they are always together just like us. Look,you're scratches ,stitches and cuts have already healed. You're regeneration is so sublime.

Meanwhile,Megumi was quietly watching him and thought,So you really love her.....maybe I was wrong about you. You're even giving her you're blood so as to increase her recovery? You've proven to me that your love is true,you're even willing to give her all your blood if you have to. You've convinced me and I respect that...but if something like this were to happen again,I,Megumi Yomotsuki Garcia, daughter of the Aristocrat Yuki Garcia,will never forgive you and I will kill you myself. She slowly closed the door and walked away.

Arthur felt so guilty,he looked like a mess. His long blonde hair covering his violet coloured eyes. The only thing he could do is just cover his face with his hands and look at her with pity. When he was about to leave to grab something to eat,coincidentally,he looked at her face so closely,he started crying while seeing her,then that single drop of tear dropped on her lips and then he kissed her.

Then,a blinding light covered the room,Arthur found himself inside of Elaine's magical energy, that was in the form of a blue lotus.

When he saw this,he realized that he had connected with Elaine. When he saw her slumped on the floor looking at the lotus while crying,he ran toward her and hugged her from the behind,and said,What the hell?! I was worried sick! But now that I see that you're magical energy is restoring itself and your spirit is still here,you can wake up in a few days! Are you happy?

When Elaine stood up and turned around and made a very serious face and started crying silently while looking at him she said with a calm but cold voice,Arthur,where were you? Where were you when we needed you the most? It's because of you that this happened to me. If you were there,things wouldn't have turned out this way. So you would rather go on your missions than staying with your wife and unborn child?

She wiped her tears,turned away from him and said,If that's what you want.....then so be it. By the time I wake up,I'll disappear along with my baby without a trace and you'll never see us ever again.

Goodbye....Arthur.

Arthur tried to catch up to her but she seemed so far away then he called out her name,Elaine, please,I....I beg you,don't leave me please! Come back to me! No.......

On the outside world,Megumi came rushing in and broke off the connection between Arthur and Elaine.

When Arthur's spirit came back to his body,he was drenching with sweat and tears just started falling and drenched his cheeks.
