First Argument

SELENA'S POV

Lisa and I followed behind Dylan into a room, it's quite homey if I say so myself, but I could not shake the nervous feeling I am experiencing. I so did not want to explain anything to Dylan, and I was not going to I just have to play it off cool, I am good at that right?

"May I ask what happened out there?" Dylan asked in a strange tone. I thought about my answer for a while before I replied, "Umm, yeah you may ask what happened." "So, what happened??" he said more aggressively." Ok, I will tell you what happened I shifted into my wolf to go for a run, because I was in an argument with Lisa, and I was really upset which made me howl out like that and I think that's all." I can literally feel Dylan's impatience. "If that's all, can we leave now?"

Some might say that I am playing with fire which indeed I am.

"I don't know what type of game you are playing, but I am done it is either explain the situation to me so that I can understand or go back to your entertaining life as a rouge!" He said with venom in his tone of voice. Now me being a rouge is none of his business, I have survived as a rouge for all my life so How Dare Him try to insult me by using my rouge title. "If you think that you are reminding me that I'm a rouge will help out in this situation you are so wrong." I said in the calmest voice I could muster. "We don't have to be here you know, because it would seem that we are causing you a lot of inconvenience. I heard your so-called meeting with your wolf team this evening and I must say you are a hypocrite, but I don't really care about most things so I would not suffer much through the mate bond." I said with a threatening tone.

"Are you threatening me? If you are I must say you are one brave she wolf." A she wolf! Did he seriously just acknowledge me as a she wolf like yes, I am a she but no one acknowledge me as just a 'she wolf.' I stood up this time to show the offense that I felt, "A she wolf huh? No one has ever acknowledged me as that before, I Don't Want To Hear You Acknowledge Me Like That Ever Again. DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?" my eyes flashed black to show my seriousness. I can see Dylans wolf trying to get out. I just want to finish this argument; Lisa is just sitting there saying nothing, Dylan is fuming, and I am starting to get really tired.

"I think I want to conclude this conversation by saying, I know we are mates I don't understand the mate thing as yet, but I am learning and to explain what happened tonight to be honest I don't trust you enough to tell you my past, for as I said I heard your meeting with your wolfs team and it was not lovely. I am tired and I would love for us to be excused." I said with tiredness clear in my voice. For real though I am seriously tired I just got out of the medical room and a lot has happened in the short space of time and I just want to rest.

I made eye contact with Lisa, and she looked like she wasn't even here in the moment of Dylans and I argument. Dylan finally looked like he calmed down a bit and allowed us to take our leave. Lisa and I were walking in complete silence until Lisa asked me a question. "When did you find out that he is your mate and why didn't you talk to me about it?" She asked okay so story time I guess, but I am really tired. "Lisa, could we talk about this in the morning? I am really fatally tired at the moment." She stopped walking "NO I wish to hear your explanation right now."

"Oh My Gosh fine. Remember when we first broke into this pack's territory and we got caught, I told you to run yada... Well, that was because I smelt something weird, but it was good, weird I did not understand it at first because I don't know a lot about mates, I just knew that it was something! I putted it altogether when I woke up and went exploring, I came across Dylans meeting room when I heard him say that one of us is his mate, I knew it was me because you didn't react the way I reacted you reacted more hostile towards him, so I knew it was me. You know a little about my past and what I promised my mom, so him being my mate is astonishing to me too and I don't want to reject him, but I also don't want to accept him." I said all that to Lisa I honestly did not know how she was going to react or what she would say to me, but what she did was expected I mean it's Lisa we're talking about she engulfed me in a huge hug and squeezed me, we laugh and continued walking to our room.

DYLANS POV

'I don't want to reject him, but I also don't want to accept him.' I cannot believe I just heard Selena say that which brings me back to the point of rouge being such vile and disgusting creatures. I don't want to accept her either I just need more information on her and the rouge community. She will be the destruction of the rouges and she don't even know it; she is the key that my father has sacrificed his own mate for, but I will make sure that she opens the door that my pack needs to once and for all destroy those creatures that are called rouges they don't even deserve the title of werewolves!!!
