Afena and Treni

It had been three days since Treni contacted her cousin Ol to tell him where he could find the Inarenta, and decided it was time to check up on him.

But first, her worshipers had to see her.

She got off her bed, stood in the very center of her quarters at the top of a tall platform in the form of a pyramid, and willed herself to be lifted onto the air. The morning air's chill hit her entire body as she crossed the threshold of the invisible barrier that protected her abode from the elements, and the goddess floated in the sky for the whole city of Crown to see.

Every single one of her subjects had to step out of whatever indoors place they may have been in, look in the direction of the pyramid, and bow their head as they proclaimed glory to their goddess. This was not hard to enforce within the city, as everyone living there was a noble she herself had appointed.
