The gods have killed all the witches.

Well, one of them still survives. And thankfully, her sisters were able to take many of the gods with them. But when a goddess resurfaces to take over the human world, will our heroine accept a call to stop her? Or will she prefer to be left alone and live a simple, peaceful life by herself?

And what will she do if others come expecting her to help? After all, Afena is known to have killed a god by herself. How can she escape that kind of reputation?

After enhancing herself with runes, Afena told Alis that their match could begin.

Neither Krenen nor Irimena had ever seen a fight like this, and they had to work out the rules as it happened. However, it ended up being simpler than they'd initially suspected. Neither fighter was aloud to move their feet. They couldn't even lift them off the floor, it seemed. All they could do was twist and lean their bodies, and move their arms.

Alis thrust at Afena's shoulder, but the Inarenta twisted her body, and countered on the backswing with a horizontal slashed, under which Alis ducked, and thrust at the stomach. Afena whirled her blade immediately after her attack to parry, and slash diagonally downwards. Alis dodged by twisting and leaning, and counterattacked with her upward slash to stand erect again. Afena blocked just in time by placing the blade horizontally before her, and supporting it with her free hand near the tip.
