Routine

"Rie," called Sachiko, "even if we can swap back by touching, I truly want this to be over."

I stared at her sitting on the bench beside the infirmary. The problem wasn't that I didn't want to, but I was scared for some reason I couldn't understand.

I took a deep breath and replied.

"Okay."

"Thank you."

Mrs. Kawahara said, "In that case, I'd recommend waiting thirty minutes in case there's a cooldown, and for Ms. Katō to feel better."

We nodded at her.

Meanwhile, both Mrs. Kawahara and Ms. Enko asked Jun and Sachiko many questions about the process. I really didn't want to hear the details, but I had no other choice.
