Chapter 11

"Hey, what are you thinking? Don't think bad about my brother!" Calista snapped, lifting the corners of her lips. Lenata's reflexes made her nervous.

"Em, I mean..."

"Hm, I know for sure you're thinking perverted right?" Calista teased Lenata.

"Ugh, Earl. What the hell are you saying?"

"Hm, let's admit it! Uh, I didn't think that Miss Lenata, who was thick with eastern customs, turned out... hmm, it turned out you are a..."

"Nonsense,"

Lenata's annoyance was combined with the screams until the sound of the riots was deafening. No doubt, Calista immediately took the phone away from her ear for a moment.

'That's Belen. Sometimes she snapped. She doesn't know if the sound of her yelling can make my ears hurt.' Calista cursed as she brought the phone back to her ear.

"Hello, Belen ..." However, there was no answer.

Calista then glanced at the phone screen to ensure that the call was still connected. Unfortunately, the call has been turned off.

'It's impolite. She's just like a ghost. Come uninvited and go with no goodbye. Good thing, we've been friends for a long time, Len.' Calista was upset.

'Eits, but what if Lenata was a pervert? Is it true? Erm, it might be true. After all, she has lived in London for many years. Getting caught up in the promiscuity is very possible, right? And if that happens, then, my brother is the one who should be responsible! Calista thought while giving an amused smile.

Her plump lips didn't stop smiling, amused at the attitude of her future sister-in-law, who she thinks was very funny and adorable. At the same time, she walked to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.

The sweet smell emanating from the kitchen had forced a firm step closer.

'Hmm, it smells perfect. I'm sure Earl must have made an omelet.' Calvino thought. And as it turned out, his guess was correct.

"Earl... Earl... you always know what I want." Said Calvino while leaning against the wall with one leg crossed. He seemed to put his hands in his pants pockets while his gaze was still locked on the frail back that seemed busy executing groceries.

"What are you doing there, huh? Come and help pour this cream soup into the bowl!"

'Shittt, she looks like she has a thousand eyes. Didn't see but could feel I was here. Calvino was upset.

Calista immediately turned around in embarrassment. "Don't scold me! Look, I'm kind enough to make you breakfast. You have no gratitude."

"In addition to having a thousand eyes, she can also read my mind. It sucks! Uh, it's very bad to have a twin sister. Whatever I feel she feels it too. It's really annoying!" Calvino mumbled so that his voice sounded more like he was muttering.

Calista immediately let out a rough breath.

"You're really annoying. You've always been cursing. Then you can continue cooking. I'm going to the office." She snapped, at the same time glaring at her brother with a cynical look.

"Hey, you ungrateful brother! You're annoying!" Calista was upset.

"Sorry, Earl. Sorry..." Calvin then grabbed his sister's slender shoulders and half pushed her back towards the kitchen.

"Quickly finish cooking. I'm starving." Said Calvino, sulking.

Meanwhile, Calista was still pouting until her lips moved a few inches forward. "You can't even cook it yourself. But you like to curse. Don't you think that I'm tired? Get up early, and keep preparing breakfast like this."

"Don't be mad, Earl. I already apologized."

'He thinks he can make up for my annoyance with an apology. What?' Calista was angry. Meanwhile, her lips are still pursed, cursing.

Not wanting to make her sister's heart constantly shrouded in irritation has made Calvino launch temptation after temptation. No doubt, it managed to lighten the mood. Now, the morning atmosphere at Calista's apartment was accompanied by laughter.

"Well, this is how to laugh. If it's like this, you're even more beautiful."

"Yeah of course, whose sister I am?" Calista made a joke.

"My sister," Calvino answered quickly.

These were the moments of their closeness which were colored with laughter. Although covered with jokes that look dry, they could make their hearts soar happily.

"Ugh, Calvin... why did you pour it into that bowl?"

"Is it wrong? You asked me to pour it into the bowl."

"What a typical man. This bowl is too big. Pour it into a small bowl!"

"Sorry... sorry... Okay then. I will move it."

"Ugh, no need. Just leave it like that. It's because of you that I could be late coming to the office."

"Well then, let's start with breakfast, shall we?" Calvino replied while rubbing the top of Calista's head casually.

Now, they ate their breakfast without a single word coming out. All that could be heard was the smack of pleasure from the finest dishes.

Calvino admitted that his sister's cooking was always delightful. It was just a simple dish, but the taste was amazingly delicious and made anyone addicted.

'Indeed, the man who marries you will feel very lucky, Earl. You can pamper your future husband with delicious food every day.' Calvino thought by locking his gaze on his beloved sister.

Feeling intensely stared at, forced the gray silhouette owner to squirm as she lifted her face. Her one eye squinted as she lifted her chin as if to say, 'what's wrong, hum?'

As if he understood his sister's question, Calvino immediately waved his thumb in the air. No doubt, even this attitude has succeeded in accompanying ripe lips to carve an amused smile.

A sturdy hand reached out to stroke the top of Calista's head with a rough motion. At the same time, she enjoyed a mouthful that felt indulgent on the tongue.

'Em, the results of my cooking are always extraordinary. How about I bring some for Leo? But ... ah, it's better not to. Not necessarily. Leo doesn't want to eat simple food like this.' Calista's mind was sad, along with the last bite.

"Em, Calvin, do you have a plan to go somewhere today?"

Calvino showered his sister with a questioning look. "What do you mean?"

"I mean.. Do you have a meeting with Kenan or something like that?"

"I don't have such a plan. So why did you ask like that, hum?"

"Em, nothing. I'm leaving for the office then."

"Let me take you there. Come on!" Calvino got up from his seat, and immediately grabbed the car key.

"Hey, Calvin, what's wrong with you? I can go alone."

"Listen, Earl. I have the same direction as your office. And... I also want to use your car, so yeah I can take you too. Come on!" He stretched out one hand so that it would be immediately greeted by curvaceous fingers.

"Where's Kenan anyway?"

"I want to go alone without Kenan's interference, and all kinds of office matters."
