Chapter 12

Calista rolled her eyes. "Um, looks like I need refreshing." Her pout accompanied the footsteps leaving Calvino, who was far behind her.

'Hm, you keep on teasing me, Earl. You insolent sister! Calvino cursed. At the same time, he widened his steps until he was level with his beloved sister.

Without warning, he immediately wrapped his hand around Calista's neck. Suddenly, Calista immediately pushed him violently.

"Go away! You're just ruining my charm." Calista's tone of voice tickled Calvino's ears.

The brown silhouette owner squinted until his brow furrowed. "What do you mean?" He asked while lifting his chin.

"You know nothing!" Calista replied while leaning her face closer rhythmically with a whisper.

"If you are possessive like this, No man will ever come close to me. Surely everyone will think that you are my lover."

"That's good! That's what my goal is, Earl." Calvino rubbed the top of Calista's head roughly combined with wide steps. Calista was still annoyed with Calvino's annoying attitude.

'He really always gets me in big trouble.' Calista muttered while kicking one leg as if she was kicking Calvino very hard.

Did Calvino not know his sister's annoyance? Of course, he knew! He knew it very well! It was just that he was too indifferent to respond to his twin sister's anger.

He even whistled without the slightest sense of guilt while driving the car at high speed. His gaze focused ahead as if really concentrating on the road. Eits, but the corners of his eyes were caught glancing at the beautiful woman sitting on the side of the driver's seat several times.

"How long will you be frowning like this, hum? You look ugly when you frown." Calvino mocked Calista while playing with her lips.

No doubt, his movement was immediately pushed violently. "Get your hands off!" Calista snapped, combined with a deadly glare.

Unfortunately, Calvino wasn't bothered at all. To him, the deadly glare that Calista had deliberately cast at him meant nothing at all.

Without the slightest sense of guilt, he whistled again.

Furious, that was how Calista felt about her brother's attitude. She wanted to get out of the car and take a taxi. However, she didn't do that. One thing she believed was that her super overprotective brother would never let that happen.

Like it or not, Calista must remain proud of Calvino's attitude, which she thought very annoying.

Not wanting to be further into anger, she looked away on the street. She tried to enjoy it all the way, though absolutely nothing caught her eye.

Inadvertently, the corner of her eye caught the clockwise direction. "Oh Gosh, 30 more minutes."

"What's wrong, Earl?" Calvino asked worriedly.

"Increase the speed. This morning I have an important meeting with the Tourism Office."

"So, should we turn back to the Tourism Office?"

Calista sighed tiredly. "Nope."

"Then?"

"Just increase the speed! I should be at the office before 10 am."

"Okay, Earl."

Simultaneously, the car was drifting at high speed until, not long after that, it stopped right in front of a towering building marked by the Grand Pierce Hotel.

"We're here, Earl. It's not too late, right? Come on down!"

"Not here. But, take me to the parking area. An elevator will take you directly to the CFO's room. Do you understand, my dear brother?"

Calvino seemed to nod his head. "Yes, I know,w baby."

Now, the car has brought both to where the parking area was. "We've arrived, princess. Please come down!" Calvino mocked his sister while opening the car door combined with a distinctive smile.

A kiss landed on Calvino's cheek for his attitude, which Calista thought was very sweet. Unfortunately, this actually ensnared Calista to Calvino's madness.

"Earl..." Calvino called.

The one who was called immediately turned around. "Yes."

Calvino's index finger immediately stomped on her right cheek, asking her to land another kiss. Reflexively, Calista's plump lips immediately gave an amused smile and, at the same time, got closer, showering Calvino's cheeks with affectionate kisses.

"Be careful. Have fun working, dear."

Calista nodded.

Calvino stared at her sister's slender body, which seemed to be walking toward the elevator. Simultaneously, he circled the car body. He wanted to sink his body between his favorite car.

However, his movements were interrupted by his sister's voice when she called the name of someone who had disturbed his peace of mind and soul for the past few days.

He immediately turned his body with a grin.

"Kia..." He whispered.

He then stared at a woman walking beside Calista. Unfortunately, Calvino couldn't see clearly because it was only visible from behind.

Her body was very similar to Samara's. Tall, white, slim, and the same hair. Both had straight hair that reached the length of the tailbone.

"Samara..." He whispered. His eyes instantly heated up until tears welled up in his eyes. Not wanting those stupid tears to run down his sturdy cheeks, he blinked his eyes repeatedly.

Not wanting to die curious about who Kiara Larasati was, Calvino has made up his mind to follow his sister.

Realizing that he was just a guest who could not meet his sister at will, his footsteps then went to the elevator that would take him up to the floor where the restaurant was located.

One thing Calvino thought of was maybe he could meet Kiara there. As far as information he got from Kenan, Kiara served as manager in the division.

He impatiently pressed the elevator button. Unfortunately, the elevator door didn't open either. Furious, of course, especially considering his impatient attitude. When the elevator doors opened, he rushed in.

As the elevator carried him up, his heartbeat couldn't calm down. His heart was still beating 1,000 times faster than usual. And when the elevator doors opened, his heartbeat was even more out of control.

His hand stretched out to his chest. 'Are you ready to meet Kiara? Then, what if it's true that Kiara is Samara?' Calvin whispered in his heart.

Calvino rubbed his face roughly, and he exhaled heavy breaths roughly.

'I never thought that my arrival to Indonesia would bring me to a difficult situation like this.' Calvino muttered in his heart.

No one knew how long he had been wrestling with his own mind. However, it was clear that the corner of his eye was still looking around with a probing gaze. One thing he hoped was that he would soon meet Kiara, even though his heart was still filled with deep doubts.
