As the evening waned on, Adora eased up on her defensiveness and while she still refused to take part in the eventual fight against the Ascenders, she was more friendly with both Damon and Adelaide than she had been since they arrived. The sky eventually changed to black, prompting Adora to request that Damon and Adelaide follow her to the basement, where she would be able to turn on lights or any other form of entertainment. She called it ‘safety measures’; Damon, however, wasn’t so sure about that.
