Damon’s legs steadied themselves as his father and the other members of Moonlight pack got down close to the ground, their shackles protruding from their backs as they each let out a warning growl. 


He never thought it would come to this: him versus his own pack. And although he was loyal and would lay his life down for Moonlight, he would not falter to protect Adelaide at any cost and fight for what he truly believed in. 


The second he saw movement from the other side, he threw all hesitation out the window. If they weren’t going to listen, he was going to make them. Damon raced towards the dozen or so members of Moonlight pack. His paws lifted off the dirt covering Hudmere Mountain, pushing it back into the wind as he jumped into the air.
