Chapter 97: Sledding and Plotting

Over the next couple of weeks Peter the limo driver always greeted Hallie in the same boring but respectful tone as he did all other passengers. It was a definite win.

Things were going great with Luke and their work, though Hallie still didn’t know how to approach the subject of not thinking of him as a jerk anymore. It was probably because she didn’t know what it meant for them. Did she really want to get involved with him… again?

Meanwhile, the snow of Sarkadia started to seem more and more sparkly rather than dreary as the Christmas holiday approached.

Hallie was glad to put aside work for a while to take part in the famous sled races.
