Chapter Fifteen | Avalon

“That is hilarious,” Alexander muses, letting out a hearty laugh. I try to contain my giggle, shaking my head profusely.

“It was terrible. I will never look at frat boys the same!”

Alexander told me earlier that he never got to experience college, so we’ve spent the last hour talking about my undergraduate stories, from the wild parties with questionable people to all-night study binges. “Wow. It sounds like I missed out on something wonderful.”

“There are different forms of wonderful, and I’m sure you have had your fair share. Don’t feel bad,” I reassure, reaching out and rubbing Alexander's back in a comforting manner. He matches my stare, offering a sweet smile.
