Quinn observed the two now expressionless criminals for some time before shaking his head and threw the matter at the back of his head.
He then told everyone not to worry because it could really just be the prison's ability to seal off everything including the prisoner's consciousness. Although the elves were still suspicious, they still listened to Quinn and ignored the matter for now until they find out what the situation is.
After dealing with everything, Quinn then went out of the prison with all the others and each went back to their own matters.
Avelin and Jarvis didn't want to delay any work and quickly went back to their own offices while the other elves returned to their own stations. As for Michael, he led Mark away and said he'll treat him for a drink to shake off all te built up tension from all the recent events.
Quinn also happened to have classes again for today so he made his way towards the dedicated building he made for his classes since his students were basically mixed from the different schools.
He had prepared to teach more about the wild life and how to survive in it. Of course, just knowing what species that plant or animal isn't really enough to survive. This time, Quinn would also be teaching how to identify the various weaknesses or properties of the wild life that they'll most likely encounter.
It wasn't long before his students gathered and was about to start class when a world notification disrupted the the lesson.
[Congratulations, enough players had once again finally reached a new tier and levelled up Tier 2. All players who had qualified are given thirty minutes to prepare before they will be transferred again to the battlefield. In this time, players are also free to choose the difficulty.]
Of course, Quinn chose Hell difficulty without thinking much. It would be pretty much overkill even for Hell mode with the current town's strength.
Quinn notified all residents first before remembering an important matter that he had been saving for the right moment, which was right now.
Last time, he had an overwhelming clearing result for Hell mode so he got a pretty good reward from it. Aside from rare resources which really weren't rare for the town, their was one that they also didn't have even of they looked for it.
It was a Territory Blessing Scroll. It was a single use item and the only purpose it had was to awaken all the territory's population. With the scroll, basically another 20% of the population could awaken various classes or professions. As for all the rest that don't, they would also either level up or have multiple breakthroughs for their skills.
Unfortunately, it could only be used for the current population and only effective until the next Beast Tide so Quinn had waited until now where they had already reached the population limit and was about to face the second Beast Tide.
With this scroll, the already monstrous town would shoot up in average strength once more.
Quinn ripped the scroll on half and the two halves flew away from Quinn's hands on their own. They then dissolved into golden light which ascended at a high altitude before suddenly exploding with brilliance.
The light had directly covered the whole town and everything alive that it touched started undergoing changes, even the dragons were included although most of then were actually just levelling their skills since they themselves are already very powerful.
After a few minutes of the light covering the town, it was followed by tens of light beams indicating the class changes of some people. Each beam represented an additional talented person so Quinn was ecstatic seeing the numbers of Advancement Lighht Beams were appearing.
Quinn asked the elves to round up all the recently awakened because he wanted to see them or even talk to them last minute before the Beats Tide starts.
The elves were very efficient and brought the awakened in no time. Quinn scanned all of them and found that most of them were combat types, not really a surprise. He was surprised though that two new professions which was the blacksmith and engineer and a new class which was a general that could effectively command troops emerged. Quinn was happy at the appearance of a general but was also equally excited to obtain new professions.
Reading through their abilities, Quinn initially thought they were basically useless since everything they could do, Quinn could do it with greater efficiency.
The blacksmith could basically continuously make weapons as long as he learned blueprint, even if it was a single use blueprint.
The engineers on the other hand could study the technologies behind stuff and also make blueprints for various different stuff as long as they understood the technology behind it.
However, after reading through their descriptions with more focus, Quinn found that they're actually pretty useful.
Like the architect who could design better infrastructures than Quinn, all weapons personally made by a blacksmith will be a few times better than weapons directly made through blueprints. All weapons that were directly made through blueprints were basically standard grade. Additionally, the blacksmith could also add in a few personal touches to the weapons.
As for the engineer, because they have to fully understand the knowledge behind the technologies they were dealing with, the blueprints they made were all more exquisite than the ones Quinn makes. The only advantage Quinn had over them was that he could just materialize blueprints.
Of course, Quinn wasn't so narrow-minded to keep the ability to himself and remain superior. Instead, he planned to give the [BLUEPRINT MAKING] skill to all professions who manage to naturally awaken in advance.
Quinn immediately put his thoughts into action and bestowed them the skill. With this, the efficiency and quality of blueprints the territory could produce skyrocketed.
After dealing with all the awakened talents, it was finally time to face the Beast Tide. A countdown appeared and when it hit zero, the town was sucked into another space for it to face its second Beast Tide.
