With that said, Marcus shifted into a powerful grey wolf at least twice the size he’d been when they came to the meeting site. Cole shifted next and Nathan followed. Shifting commenced throughout the pack meeting, and once everyone was aligned, Nathan began a run that took them from the site through the forest across the bridge to the island where the pack split apart touching every part of the island and marking it as theirs. The run Lasted just before dawn. Never before had Nathan been prouder of the family that ran with him and for him. 


They returned to the meeting site, and to no ones surprise, Cole announced that Marcus was now the alpha. Nathan found it hard to take his eyes from the captivating presence of Marcus as the dawn broke through the forest. As everyone returned to human form and reclaimed their seats, Nathan opened the floor for discussion. An older member stood to his feet.
