Keera looked on, having no idea whether she was safe or not safe to move. Shawn, walked around Penny's unconcious body and after reaching down, picked her up and placed her over his shoulder, finally noticing that Keera was there.
" I'm surprised at how far she has come. Good job kiddo" Shawn Congratuled the unconcious Penny. " But who are you? " Shawn pointed at Keera who was still in shock at almost losing her life.
" I am Keera..Penny's mother...we..we just came from the Vampire Kinddom where Penny's mother was..well..she was.." Keera struggled with being able to confess though Shawn waived the answer.
" Raven Is dead " He blurted out, which shocked both Keera and Lysette.
" You may not know who I am. And that is a good thing. You will continue to not know, however, you know my daughter and her mother. And since I don't believe you have harmed either of them, you will continue to live. In fact, you will come with us since it seemed as though my daughter has unfinished business with you" Shawn stared deep into the eyes of Keera who was completely terrified.
" I..don't want..-" Shawn again, waives her answer.
" Since you cannot speak and since my hands are full at the moment. You will follow us, and during that time you will find a way to gather the courage to speak to me " And with that, Shawn and Lysette walked last Keera who stumbled to her feet, and followed behind them, not closely, but close enough to keep them within her line of sight.
" Are you not going to speak with me Lysette? " Shawn questioned, though despite the several times he had asked before, he still recieved no response.
" Well, eventually you are gonna have to speak because when we get to the Kingdom..there are going to be issues. We both know this" Shawn advised.
Lysette remained silent. Lost without the thoughts of all that had taken place at the encampment of the Thorns. She could not quite believe what she had seen in the corner of that room. She prayed that her eyes had decieved her. That somehow, she had been mistaken and that the man in that room, could have never possibly been there at all. That she had imagined it. That the possession of this girl, connected to him, did not imply what it seemed too. She could not speak because she had no idea how or what to say. She needed time to think and so she continued to March on. The girl, who also spoke nothing, clinged tightly to Lysette and gazed upon a land that was vast and wide, horribly beautiful and completely frightening.
" What is your name, child?" Shawn questioned the small girl who did not turn to face him.." Aledine" She answered softly.
" I think I will call you Ally for short" Shawn shot a rather toothy grin to the child. " My name is Shawn. Not that you asked or that you care but it's Shawn all the same" he chirped as they walked.
" I am going home? " Ally asked, finally turning to Shawn. " You are.." He assured her.
" You know, for being so young, you can speak really well. How did that happen? " Shawn wanted to keep the conversation going..partially because he had grown bored on this Journey but also because he felt as though it may ease the girls nerves.
" My uncle taught me well.." She answered. If she were correct, and the man who held her captive were truly her uncle then this would explain quite a bit as to why Lysette remained silent though despite this confession, Lysette said nothing and continued to looking forward.
" Well he did very well. I'm sure you will be welcomed home, and I'm sure your parents will miss you" He had a feeling what had happened though he kept his thoughts to himself for now. Surely, they would would not punish the child for coming home. But Lycans were unpredictable.
" I don't think so. I'm exhiled" Ally sighed, sadness filled her tone.
" Exiled for what? " Shawn asked, sad to hear such a small child say something so..horrible.
" I don't know. But, it was bad" Ally looks to the path ahead of them. " How close are we? " She asked Shawn who looked to the path ahead as well.
" Still quite a way, but we will get there soon enough. Soon enough"
