Once the meeting had taken place, Aurora could rest easy for the time being. During this time, Aurora spent her time with Kara, bonding with her child whilst Ember spent time working on dealing with a new matter that become apparent to her recently, the inner conflict within herself.
Though she had pushed down the inner feelings, the inner conflict, she would have to face it now. Feelings, in the way that would allow for friendships and relationships were never something she had dealt with. She was ancient, she was beyond the understanding of most, with only a few exceptions.
When she was perceived as just human, she had encured a rough life. A life that was completely unforgiving In a completely different world. And yet, she made a friend. A friend that was caring and Kind and had done the best she could to amend her mistakes.
Her mind traversed the memories with Penny, the confusion and the pain. The anger and the shame. And did not know how she could possibly solve this dilemma.
What were her true feelings? Did she truly have love for Penny? Was she in love with Penny? She had no point of reference other than the love that she had witnessed between others. " How do I even begin to understand you.." Ember was speaking to herself, the heart that resided within the shell of eternity.
Ember made her way to a balcony, which seemed to be a lounge of sorts for many as there were tables and chairs, overlooking the vast and beautiful land. " Its trivial you know..to hurt me like this" Ember sighed, clenching her hands onto the rails protecting those who wanted a wonderful view from falling.
" I don't need love to be happy..but I know that you do. But you don't love her, she is your friend. Your only friend. But do not act out of desperation..you put us both at risk" she sighed. " I can't let our heart run rampant..it never ends well" She continues to try and reason with herself.
" I love her..it doesn't matter how..I love her and you have to let me try.." Ember pleaded with herself.
" Let her try " Aurora called from behind Ember. " I know that I don't have the right to speak on this. But I still think you should let her try" Aurora walled to the balcony and gazed over the same land that Ember had been fighting with herself over.
" Let her figure it out and if it doesn't work..well, worse things have happened" Aurora fought for this, not just because of all that Ember had done for her but also because it was the right thing to do. " I believe that it is not wise..but I suppose..I should allow this to be..arranged" Ember relented.
" The moment that you both have the chance..let them talk and let them get their feelings out. And don't let her hold back " Aurora smiled and winked, before taking her leave and returning back to Kara.
" I hate this..." and with this, Ember leans forward over the balcony, falling over and crashing through the air, as she approached the ground, a small opening appeared and grew wider as she approached land.
Ember, fell through the hole that had now appeared with the ground and, came out another opening where she was launched into the air a few feet and then landed back onto the ground. Instead of being at the Witches Palace, she was now outside of the Lucan Kingdom. She used her own version of teleportation. Hoping that she would be able to finally put things to rest.
No matter what was going to happen while she was there, She knew that she would finally be a peace.
