Currently his legs were on top of his desk as he was surfing something on his phone. When he lifted his head, contrary to what he guessed he saw an unexpected face. Instantly, a frown appeared on his face.

"I know him. Leave." Ethan said flatly. Yu Ran's face fell as she bowed and retreated.

As soon as Yu Ran left, the expressions on both men's faces changed drastically. Ethan slowly put his legs down and asked sternly, "If you're here, then who is managing Shadow Group?"

"Who else but Ely?" Van said and sat before Ethan.

In reply, Ethan just smiled. He took out a gun directly from a drawer and threw it at Van. While taking it in his hand, Van heard the sound of a chair moving.

"I nearly forgot him. Troubling Han Boyaung is more entertaining than I initially thought." Ethan muttered disdainfully.

"If I had not come what were you going to do all this time? Trouble your stepmom?" Van Alroy spoke mockingly as he checked the bullets in the magazine. Seeing it filled to the brim, he caressed the gun as if it were his lover.

Sky Li Corporation, the Li family's business. To be exact, her father's company. In the past, Li Yi had asked Mu Yuexin to work directly in it and even President Li told her he would make sure she would get work alongside Li Yi.

That was a golden chance but Yuexin knew nothing comes free in this world.

Mu Yuexin shook her head and refused, "I don't want to work in your company."

"Ah, but why?!" Li Yi sounded aggrieved as she held her hand tightly. "We will work and stay together like our college life. Also you won't have to work hard! I… I will ask my father to give you 3 days off in a week!"

"I… did not think about it yet." Yuexin murmured. But then she recalled that they were supposed to pack their things from today and leave soon because new people would come to live.

"Can you do the job?" The manager asked Mu Yuexin again to make sure.

"Absolutely." Mu Yuexin spoke seriously.

If not for being broke, Mu Yuexin would not have accepted this job. Her field of expertise was suitable for her to become a cashier or accountant but she didn't get the job she had come for and pocketed this job instead.

"Yuexin, get ready!' She cheered herself mentally and then walked out in her black and white uniform and a notepad in her hand.

Mu Yuexin started her new work with a bright and enthusiastic smile, "Hello, sir, shall I take your order?"

When the manager saw that she was able to handle it, he finally went back to work.

"Your food, sir. Please enjoy," Mu Yuexin said modestly and attempted to leave, giving them privacy. However, someone caught her wrist abruptly.
