A deafening silence echoes inside the four corners of Raven's room. It turns the atmosphere heavier than before. No one tries to talk or make a noise. Kinrue and Raven are kneeling in front of Mollyana Auclair, who is sitting at the edge of the bed while cross both legs and arms. She's staring at them, who's kneeling politely like a child waiting to be scolded. It's almost five minutes since they got caught in between of their argument. They don't know how to reason out and there's no way they can do something obvious.
Both of them flinch when Molly made a slight movement. Out of instinct, they move backwards to not get in her range.
"The two of you sure know how to get along when I'm around, isn't it?" Molly said, breaking the silence between them.
"W-we're just fooling around Molly. It's not what you think." Raven said, trying to pursue her.
She chortled. "Try to fool me? I heard your loud voices outside the door."
"B-boss... I-It's just..."
"I think you're sick, so I'm here to pay you a visit, but I think there's nothing to be worried about since you look fine now." Molly said. "In fact, I'm disappointed that you lied to me about the both of you getting along well."
"Argh! I don't want to hear any of this." Raven said out of frustration before he stand up. "Do whatever you want. I can't act that we're getting along, even if the truth is not. I'm out of this mess loop."
He walks a few steps towards the door but stops when Molly laughs out loud.
"Fine. I'll send this picture to mom and dad then,"
They looked in Molly's direction and saw her waving the phone with a picture of them inside the amusement park. It's the day they made a deal. Both of their eyes almost pop-out in surprise and as if got freeze. A chill run downs through their body as they try to snatch the phone on her hand but Molly hides it faster than them. Molly forms a grin as the two kneeled back in front like a puppy.
"B-Boss, I-I'll do whatever you asked. Don't send those pictures to your parents," Kinrue said while both hands clasps, trembling.
"S-she's right. I'll do anything so,"
"What's wrong with the two of you? Are you going to hide your relationship forever?"
They look at each other, waiting for one of them to answer her question, but they look away and didn't give any specific words.
"No one wants to answer? Well then, I need the both of you to accompany me this upcoming Saturday. You don't have a class that day so, it's fine."
"Where are we going? If it's about the photo shoot, then leave me out of it. You know how much I hate to be photographed." Raven said.
"Don't worry, it's not a photo shoot, I'm having a charity event for the orphan kids in Flower field Orphanage. Both of you should be present on that day and, of course, I don't want any scene. Try to get along well,"
Both of them nod their heads even if against their will. If they are archenemy of each other, then Molly is the villain of this entire story. As they push each other away, Molly acts like a magnet who keeps attracting both of them against their will. It's terrible by imagining, but there's no way to not follow her.
"I have an appointment to attend now. There's some fruit I bought on the way. It's in the kitchen. Fix and eat it well." Molly said and stand up so they do.
Even though Kinrue feels giddy, they follow them outside and see Molly off with a force smile on the face. She gave them a warning look before leaving that made the two flinch. They stare at each other as soon as the door close instead of arguing, both look away.
"Why didn't you tell me that boss will come here?" She asked without looking back.
"I didn't know she'll come for real,"
"Argh! There's really no peaceful day that came to my life since I encounter you."
A silence lingers between them.
Raven looks at her and saw how she's sweating a lot and seems pale. He didn't notice it before since he's annoyed at how she acted.
"You should rest inside instead of seeing Molly off,"
"I'm fine,"
"Fine? Don't lie."
She startled when Raven lifts her like a bride out of nowhere. She tried to resist and get off from him but it's useless since she still has not enough strength. Instead of making the situation difficult for them, she let him carry her to the bedroom.
Even though they are archenemy of each other, the way he put her down on the bed is so gentle and every time he pats her head is comforting rather than feel irritates. She couldn't even make an eye contact because of embarrassment.
"The porridge got cold, but eat at least another two spoonful and take a medicine. Can you not be stubborn and do it?" His voice tone down, but she didn't reply and get the bowl of porridge and eat it in silence. Though it's not good when it's cold but the taste is still delicious. It made her eat more rather than two spoonful.
On the other side, Raven watches her eat like a child being obedient after a long scolding. He gets a clean towel inside the drawer and wipes her sweats falling from the temple. She glance at him for a second before eating again. It took another few minutes before she could finish and take the medicine afterwards.
"I can't believe we ended up arguing. If you just follow me before then,"
"What? Are you going to blame it again for me?" She said with an irritating tone.
Raven shrug his head and tucks some strand of hair behind her ears. "Let's call this day a ceasefire. Can't you cool down? I'm not picking a fight here."
"Fine."

The sun is already down when Raven wakes up with something heavy on his body. Before the situation process inside his mind, he already saw Kinrue sleeping on top of him. It looks like she's in a deep sleep because of the heavy breathing he feels. He's about to let her sleep beside so he can stand and prepare a dinner but Kinrue is like a glue that stock on his body. After some failed attempts, he let it, heaving a deep sigh. Like before, he check if the temperature went down but luckily it went down. They don't need to call the doctor anymore since the medicine is effective.
"Hmm..."
"Sleepy empty head. Are you awake now?"
"R-Ribbit, N-no... D-don't go. N-no..."
"Elf? Wake-up," he try to shrug her shoulder but it has no effect.
"N-no, R-Ribbit." she said almost shouting and abruptly wake up catching her breath. Her eyes quiver and both hands tremble. It made Raven flinch, looking at her with confusion.
"Elf? Are you having a nightmare? You keep talking on your slee..."
He couldn't finish his words as soon as he looks into her eyes. It shows fear, pain, and regret. Those same emotions that creep him out like the first day they went to the Asura Town with Kian. She's sitting on top of him, head bows down while tears keep falling into those chocolate colored eyes. There's no unnecessary noise came out of her mouth but she keeps repeating the word 'no' and 'Ribbit'. He doesn't know who Ribbit is. She keeps calling his name when asleep, but whenever she's awake, those words never came out. Raven let out a short but deep sigh before sitting down while supporting her back using one hand. The actual position in their inn is rather awkward, but those opinion doesn't matter anymore.
"Hey, elf. What's wrong with you? Breathe properly." He said, lifting her chin up to look straight at him. "Breathe in, breathe out. Calm down."
Kinrue try to follow him but she couldn't help bursting out crying while remembering the scene inside her dream. Before one of them can speak, her body moves on its own and hug Raven tight, crying out every pain and sadness inside.
"What's wrong with you? Are you planning to suffocate me? Let go, you d*mn empty head." He tries to remove her hand around him but it stuck like a glue. In the end, he let her cling to him and not talk.
"R-Ribbit, Ribbit." she said between her sob.
"I'm Raven, not Ribbit for pete sake," he face palm himself out of disbelief.
Another few minutes pass, but Kinrue doesn't seem to calm down yet. Raven also feels hungry at the moment. He looks at the wall clock and it's almost quarter to 8 o'clock in the evening. There's no way he can cook anymore.
"Elf, let go of me. I need to order something to eat. Besides, I'm not going somewhere." Instead of letting him go, her grip gets tight. It startles Raven. "H-hey,"
"D-don't go."
"Argh! You're really something. Get yourself together."
