As the grand door to the dungeon opened, the only thing I could see was darkness. A large square room with darkness ahead of me. All I could see was a few 2 meters ahead of me. I was stunned and could not move from feeling the presence of something.
I was feeling the pressure as if someone or something was trying to make sure that it is their territory or messaging ' Don't get inside.' It was such a creepy feeling that I had chills going down my spine. Although I was sure it was the dragon which is, of course, 10 times stronger than me at the very least.
After I encountered such a creepy feeling I put forth my very first steps inside the dungeon. As soon as I entered I was surprised by the system and its new ability.
(Master has been detected to be inside the Dungeon of the Lucifer. It is known for its darkness and is feared by historical figures. Would master like to use Divine Eye's ability 'Night Vision'?)
It was so unpredictable and abrupt that it almost scared the shit out of me. But after my reaction of 'Ahhh? A fucking Ghost. Help.' I calmed down and accepted the offer. Then I was able to see perfectly as if I were in the sunlight.
I could see farther than before. Now I noticed something even scarier. There was a wall with a hell of a lot of carvings. The pictures carved on the walls were so scary but as I neared it I noticed something different.
I could recognize the drawings of people killing monsters. There were weird monster drawings as well. Some had three heads, some were large dragons ridden by someone with weird appearances. There was even a substantial beast with 4 heads two of dragons and two were not present most probably beheaded. That beast was gnawing on a large Mountain of human and demon corpses.
I wanted to touch the walls to see if there was anything hidden. And like I guessed it there was a secret button which was the man riding the dragon. 'Crack' The door opened up with a breaking sound must be because of not been opened up for decades. The mysterious door led to a staircase.
The staircase went down and I could not see its end. The first floor was free of any monsters but I could feel the strong presence of many monsters from below me. I slowly ran down the stairs. I was very cautious and calm while going down the stairs.
After a few hundred steps the stairs turned right and then down. Then the same thing happened after another few hundred steps. It just got repetitive and I forgot the steps count at 1550. After probably an hour of going down the stairs, I could finally hear the monster noises and their presence got even stronger.
Soon after, I was welcomed by a large 20ft by 20ft door. Such monstrosity for a door was unheard of. As I was trying to open the door, just from touching it activated something.
(Master congratulations on reaching the first floor of The Great Dungeon of Lucifer. This dungeon was made by Lucifer, who was feared by even the gods and was known as God Killer.
There are a few things you need to be careful of inside the dungeon.
• The dungeon lacks the level bosses. So, you can pass through each level after defeating the gatekeepers of each level.
• The monsters found inside this dungeon was primitive thus, they are very strong with very little or no weaknesses.
• Master can only remain for about 4 hours a day.
• Master can start from the same floor master left off previously.
• Death is absolute. If the master dies inside the dungeon the master will not be able to resurrect.
Finally, Good luck master. I recommend buying some things from the divine shop before entering.)
Oh? The rules were pretty straightforward. The only thing that I was worried about was if I die then it's all over. I will lose everything and die. As this dungeon had primitive monsters that are way stronger than the present time monsters it was going to be hard. But I was reminded of the shop that I unlocked not so long ago.
"Open the shop," I commanded the system.
( Opening the Divine Shop. What would master like to buy?)
As I was in the dungeon, I was going to be fighting strong opponents. So the answer was sure, of course, skills, nonetheless, I was fighting foes not only stronger than me but something that I knew nothing about. So I was in a quandary as to what to choose.
I needed both but I lacked points to but both. The skills would be an important asset but knowledge was something I needed. This, I made my decision and used up all my points to buy ' The Knowledge About Primitive Monsters.' It costs me 450 points but it was worth it.
The book left me with nothing but surprises. I thought that the gods were helping me. I was right about buying the knowledge.
Now was the time to be strong. Stronger than ever. I will be getting comprehensive evolution of my skills, strength and durability.
It's was time to get overpowered.
To be continued...
