The Scariest Monster

I bought the knowledge about the monsters that are slithering around inside the dungeon. I just thought I got my hands on treasure. An invaluable treasure that changed my life forever.

After a thorough understanding of what is provided in the knowledge here is a summary.

These monsters were the army for Lucifer. They were used for battles. These monsters come in 5 different types. They were durable, strong, agile and fearless. The gods whom these monsters were used to battle with, could find only one weakness in them even after battling for over a decade.

Four of the types are blind and the last and the strongest has one eye. The first type is like the personification of speed. The second type specializes in monstrous skill using the ability. The third and the fourth specialises in durability and strength respectively. They specialised in one ability each but that doesn't mean that they can not be skilful on other ability.

When one of the four types master its ability and advances to another level it unlocks new abilities making it the fifth type. The fifth type can have two or more abilities at the same time. This makes them even stronger.

Now the weakness of these monsters was unbelievable. Such weaknesses of such strong beings.

That is a small summary of what I learned. I immediately entered the room and took out my sword ready to fight at any time. This room was very quiet and simple. The same rectangular shape room but I could not see the ends on all three sides. I walked 20 meters inside and finally realised the mistake I made. I was surrounded by the first type of monster known as "speed". There were 8 of them. I appraised each and found their levels to be pretty low than mine.

"So, you surrounded me huh? Nice strategy."

I was perspiring as they surrounded me. The ceiling of the room was roughly 50 meters. And these monsters were 35 meters in height. I looked like an ant in front of these gigantic beasts. They didn't have eyes just like the knowledge book said. They were like chimpanzees with long forearms and strong hind legs. They were stony in colour making them perfectly camouflaged in this room of stones. Those sharp teeth that are almost as large as I will crush me in an instant.

I needed to be careful. I was ready to beat their asses. Their speed is their strength as well as their weakness. I jumped forward using the Rapid Moment skill that allows me to run faster than the speed of sound. I docked on the knees of one of the monsters. They were tall so they has to stay low to avoid hitting the ceiling. And I took that advantage and jumped on the hind legs.

"Activate: Learn Eternal Sword Style."

I decreed to the system to activate the learning protocol of the sword style I learned. I acquired Eternal Sword Style last time. This sword style was invented by one of the strongest people known in history. It was so strong and very hard to learn so it vanished from existence. But I acquired it through the system.

This technique solely focuses on elemental attacks, increasing output, strengthening the user and a few other fields. I only got the technique but I have to learn and unlock skills on my own. Now I was using the learning protocol that will help me uncover the different abilities that this technique is capable of.

(Initiating Learning protocol. Master, you have to practice the law of using the sword in this style. If the master uses the sword according to the law new skills will be unlocked.

The first law acquired, the stronger the user and the stronger the strength used in the swing. The output of the swing is even stronger.)

A small explanation from the author,

Law of Sword techniques are like the formula of mathematics and science. Just like the laws that govern the universe, a country the Law of sword techniques are the fundamental principles that govern the overall way of holding, swinging, strengthening, training, attacking and defending. Without the Law of Sword Techniques, it will not be accepted as a sword technique.

The Eternal Sword Style focuses on strength. In simple words, just remember it focuses on overwhelming the enemy by the difference of sky and surface.

(Damn it, just explain it to me. How can I make a move with just that useless law? Fucking shit.)

I cursed the system for its improper guidance. Who the hell can create a movement out of thin air just by some stupid law? Just as I was about to give up I remembered a skill that I had from the very beginning. The 'Harden' skill. If it is just like its name then my attack power will increase.

"Use harden and show its abilities."

I bade the system to initiate the use of the skill 'Harden'.

(Harden skill activated.

Harden:

Makes whatever the user desires, unbreakable and strengthens the muscles. Consumes a lot of mana and puts a lot of strain. The ability to make things unbreakable only works on non-living objects.

It was just as I expected. I immediately hardened my sword and attacked the knee I was standing on. I successfully made a large cut but could not cut off its whole leg. It is tougher than any metal. The dark green blood dropped as the monster screeched in pain and agony. It hit its head on the ceiling and made the ceiling fall.

I jumped from rocks to rocks that were falling and cut through the large ones and was somehow safe with bruises and scratches. This hardened ability was truly something. All 8 of the monsters were buried under the pile of rocks.

(Conditions are met. The master achieved his first technique, Eternal ----)

"Yes. Finally, I FINALLY GOT A SKILL. Now, I will beat the crap out of you. Just you wait you filthy monsters."

I wailed at the honour of achieving something marvellous. I was inside a small hole in the ceiling from where I jumped towards those monsters. Using my Hardenability will increase my offensive ability and using Rapid movement will increase my thrust of attack dealing a fatal blow.

"My next attack will kill you all in just one swing. Be ready to die.*breaths* Eternal Sword Style, Spiral Petrification Wave."

The user of Eternal sword style should remain calm while attacking. The techniques are mostly simple and easy. With a calm face and soul, I swiftly moved my sword in a circle right before touching the ground. A magic circle formed at the tip of my sword that made a wide blade that moved through the air slicing all of the 8 monsters and instantly petrifying them from the point of contact.

After spending the remaining time in the dungeon I came out when the time was over and with dozens of new skills and techniques I was Rookie 30.

This chapter has been the toughest to explain and I had to reconsider various things. But I am now getting more experience chapter after chapter.  This chapter was truly a pain in the ass.
