I commanded the seven coloured deaths to stand up and listen to my plans for the future. These were the plans that I had for a long time now. The plan is for the long term and very complicated as well.
"What plan, My Lord? Is it about our lives or our status or something else?"
Haider asked me with inquisitiveness. As they never experienced development and changes to their daily lives and their villages, this is something new for them.
"Let me explain. After I complete my explanation you can ask any questions. So, the first plan that I have is that we need to relocate this village. We will have to move our settlements. First of all, I need details about every tribe village on this island."
I put my plan on the table and asked Dillon to bring me the map of this island. All the representatives went back to bring a detailed report on their village.
"Dillon, there is something I want to ask you?"
I had a doubt that I wanted to clear. The doubt was about the relationship between the representatives and him.
"Yes!" He exclaimed.
"You are the leader of the seven representatives but you don't have the information regarding their villages?" I questioned.
"Lord William, you don't have to ask for my permission to ask a question. However, the question you asked me is quite interesting. There are 9 villages on this island. Seven that the seven of them each rule over, one that I have control over and one that My Lord probably don't know about.
The 9th is a dwarf village situated far north from here. There is a large natural cave that is their habitat. They do not like to contact the outside world. They do not like to interfere with the matters of the outside world. They signed a treaty with us that mentioned that we will not interfere with the inner problems of the dwarf village and in return for the peace they will trade us weapons, armour, shields etc.
After this agreement, the other seven representatives requested me not to intervene with their village problems. They wanted to remove the burden of managing the whole island alone. So I tried to avoid their offers but they pressurised me to accept them.
Now I know nothing about their villages. Nevertheless, you are the owner of this island so they can not resist your orders." Dillon explained to me the current situation. The situation was not as good as I thought.
"Oh! They are here!" Dillon clamoured the arrival of the seven representatives.
"We are here My Lord. This is our report."
"Put them on the table and sit down." The reports they brought were not even in the smallest sense, reports. They are just a piece of parchments. I will have to work a lot harder *sigh*
I took the reports and went through all of them. It took just 2 minutes for something that should take days to complete.
"So the 'reports' you have given me is not what I call a report. WHAT IS THIS?" I was enraged and they started trembling on their chairs but avoided showing their true feared face.
"I-I am sorry, My Lord. I, Haider, was not careful to prepare a report beforehand. I am very sorry."
Haider, who had the roar of a lion, his voice got highly pitched.
"It's okay. I will forget about the fact that the great seven representatives were PATHETIC in their first impression towards their master." I tried to maintain my posture and showed superiority to maintain my position in their hearts.
"Dillon prepare for a meeting with the leader of the dwarves. Haider, from today I officially announce you the head of the Development Department. You will be responsible for making temporary camps for everyone to stay until the 'The City Project' Is completed.
You will find a place at the centre of the island and make preparations for making a settlement. I will give you the detail tomorrow. Is that clear?"
Haider was crying with happiness once again. Then the atmosphere changed as soon as I declared something.
"I will be visiting every single village. I have plans for all of the villages. Be prepared."
As soon as I declared that they all said.
"I shall take my leave now, My Lord." One by one.
To be continued...
