Unrequited

"Action!"

Cold breeze.

The sinking sun-

And in the midst-

A woman-

That white one-piece dress dancing around with the wind.

Staring back- with the sun just behind her, it was a bit hard to make out her facial features- but those large ruby eyes- those burning bright red- eyes…

"You-" The man spoke- dressed in a coat- a grey coat- lots of pockets… and a hat. "You killed him?" Breath erratic- almost as though he was seeing a ghost. Or rather, couldn't believe what he was seeing?

A grin- and teeth- "To say that, you must have proof, yes detective?" Voice- sublime. Divine even.

The waves- were strong. And so was the salty smell…

Birds going back home-

Slight grimace- he didn't.

Yet.

"Cut!" Mild groan. "We're doing a retake-" The director sighed.

"Why?" Gail stared back. "Something wrong, sir?"

Because so far, the shoot had been perfect.
