Unknown Meeting

In the new world and the real world, people were stunned by the new notification.

Another party have cleared a dungeon first but that part lost two of six members and others were injured

However, the new notification didn't announce any casualties and one of the members of the party was none other than Hon Ma Vương

This was what cause everyone to be in shock and different discussion were happening in the forums but since there wasn't a vedio record of the event, no one knew exactly what happened

If they did, they'd think those four were monsters. They didn't just clear the dungeon. They completely destroyed it.

He didn't pay much attention to it and instead found a place to sit and open his status

Ma Vương looked at his status screen. A lot has changed in just a few hours.

His stats was now comparable to that of a level 6 player and his skills, weapons and items have increased

New bars have been added to the system too

Now, thanks to the error, he had three of four initial classes and had skills in all three.

When compared to other players, Ma Vương was a long way ahead. Of course without his other classes, there were still people who could complete destroy him

People like Shinigami and Galaxia. If given a attack skill, Ma Vương wasn't sure he could defeat Night Witch with just his Assassin skills

In the end, the bug in the system was the foundation of Ma Vương's strength. Take that away and he'd be just another random player in the game.

Ma Vương knew this well and wasn't going to let his current status fool him. A wise old man once said, "The only time a great man can fall is when he believes he is the greatest" [1]

Ma Vương had many plans I'm the game and getting killed because of his own pride wasn't one of them.

At the top right corner of the screen, Ma Vương noticed a red dot blinking. Curious, he clicked on it and a line of notifications appeared on the screen

Ma Vương looked at the notifications which he just found out were hidden.

Out of all of them, the one about luck points caught his attention the most

He suddenly remembered the scene from the dungeon earlier.

His hammer had slipped out of his hands because of it's weight but somehow, it hit the boss chest which just happened to be it's weak point

"That wasn't coincidence. That was luck" Ma Vương said in shock. He remembered disregarding the luck point he got before

That single luck point he had pretty much saved the lives of four helpless players.

Ma Vương made a metal check to gather as much luck points as he could in the future.

However, how are luck points obtained and how are they used?

Did they just come up in random rewards or are there specific actions that give luck points as rewards? Did they only get used in battles or could they be used at other times? Can he chose when to use his luck points or do they just get used at random?

Questions about luck points quickly filled his brain

Ma Vương shook his head and sighed. In the end, he had too little information about this world and how it works. He had to go back to the real world and read all the articles the producers released from cover to cover.

Speaking of the real world, Ma Vương recalled one of the hidden notifications said he had used up 60% of his advised gaming hours.

That means he has been in the game for almost five hours already. Six hours was the longest anyone could stay in the game for now.

Ma Vương decided it was time to return to the real world not only to learn more about this world but also to get out of the gaming pod. Lying still for almost five hours? His body most be stiff even with the pod ability to put his real body in a sleep like state.

Ma Vương checked the fence. It was almost done and it was kind of safe to leave his character here.

With that in mind, Ma Vương sat in a shaded part of the land.

In the real world, inside a white room.

The gaming pod at a corner of the room suddenly dimmed and seconds later, opened with a weak hiss

Lin Fang blinked a couple time before sitting up. After taking a moment to get his mind clear, he got out of the pod and closed it behind him

The first thing Lin Fang did after getting out was give his muscles a nice long stretch. The satisfying sounds out bones popping into place could be heard as he stretched.

Next, Lin Fang wet to drink some water and rehydrate before finally going downstairs to get something to eat.

Downstairs, Lin Fang could immediately hear the sound of things being moved around in the kitchen.

He glanced at the clock in the living room. It was already 5:28pm. It was around this time his step mom usually begins preparing dinner. No doubt, she was the one in the kitchen at the Mom.

Lin Fang hesitated to go into the kitchen. He and his stepmother don't have a very good relationships.

Like most could have guessed, Lin Fang's stepmother was one of those evil stepmother's like the one from Cinderella.

It was kinda stupid to compare her to a cartoon character but it was the truth. She hits him when she could, insults him no matter what he does and blame him for things that were clearly done by her own son.

The only time they ever seem to not be arguing or something was when Lin Fang's father was around.

Then, she was as nice as the stepmother from Cinderella, before she had her two daughters that is

'Damn, again with the carton Characters!' Lin Fang sighed and went into the kitchen anyways.

His stomach was killing him. He prayed that this would be one of those days she would just ignore his existence.

A few minutes later, Lin Fang walked out of the kitchen unscratched with a tray. He had on it a plate of spaghetti and meatballs, a glass of juice and an apple.

'Thankfully, she was in a good mood and completely ignored me' Lin Fang thought to himself and went back up to his room.

In an unknown location

Inside a room with just a long table, chairs and a large screen at one end, there sat seven people with white lab coats

They seem to be in a heated argument and were divided into two groups

It was hard to identify them as they had on facemasks that hid all of their lower faces

"They are obviously not the chosen one but a skilled hacker! His account must be deleted!" one person shouted in an angry voice

"You can't conclude that. If we follow your decision to delete his account and they they turned out to be the chosen, what will we do then? Do you think you can take responsibility for that?" another person said. This person sounded rather calm and collected

"No but still, how he be one of the chosen? If he continues the way he his, he'll be a great threat to us in the near future" the angry person stated

Suddenly, the room went dark for a second and when it came back up, everyone had their heads bowed

Slowly, the lifed their heads and saw a message on the table

"Understood" all seven people said in respectful voices and gather their things
