After over thirty-years of searching, Ravuth at last feels hopeful.

This thrilling, unpredictable, yet sometimes hilarious quest, takes you from the fashionable London restaurant scene to the wild, untamed jungles of the Cardamom Mountains, where an English baker helps a Cambodian refugee searching for his missing family and an elusive plant, the source of an exquisite spice.

The Spice

Jed felt more relaxed after Ravuth called with the new location. He’d had a stressful few months since Ravuth’s departure and put under pressure by his powerful, dangerous, clients. Assuming that Ravuth had given him the correct information before and he would have found the village by now, he’d squandered most of the client’s down payment on new vehicles, expensive hotels, buying equipment, and paying people in Koh Kong to search the area where Ravuth showed him.
