Hunting Game (2)

"Why are his eyes glowing red? Is he an original?" One of the men asked in shock still staring at Asher.

"Leave while you can or stay and die!" Asher yelled at the men.

"How dare a kid tell me to leave!" the leader growled and his eyes began to glow red, the same with the other two men.

"Miles deal with the two men, I'll take care of their leader," Asher said to Miles who nodded and began to transform until he turned into a silver-grey wolf.

Miles dashed to the two men with his claws out ready to scratch them, the men ran out of the place causing him to miss his targets. He growled and ran off in the direction the men took.

"Kid, you are one of us, I see no need to fight each other," the leader said.

"Only if you let us have this dead meat, you don't expect me to hand it over to you...my efforts to kill it will be in vain," Asher replied while walking close to the man.

"Stop right there kid! I do not want to fight with you," the man said in a bit of rage, still at that Asher didn't stop and kept walking close to him. "Don't say I didn't warn you kid!" the man growled and dashed at Asher at an unseeable speed. He grabbed his neck pushing him to a nearby tree.

*Bang*

Asher's back was slammed against the tree causing a loud sound to be heard.

"Didn't I warn you kid? you are no match for me!" the man sneered still holding Asher's neck.

"Are you sure about that?" Asher asked with a grin as his eyes flickered. Before the man could process anything, he was suddenly being held by Asher. "I'm no match for you? Tsk! your end has come!" with that, the man's neck was snapped and was separated from his neck. "Ewww! too much blood on me!" Asher said in disgust and walked away to find his friend.

'The hell! I'm too weak, Asher almost drained all the blood in my vessels now I'm cornered by these blood-sucking demons' Miles said inwardly while holding his chest.

He had run off to find the men but what he didn't know was that they had planned a surprise attack for him. They had attacked him unawares rendering him powerless against them and he was weak even before the fight due to the huge amount of blood that left him.

"Are you not too weak for a werewolf," one of the men taunted Miles. They were having the upper hand since the fight began and this alone gave them the impetus to ridicule him.

"What makes you think I'm weak? I'll kill you both!" Miles yelled in pain still holding his aching chest.

"Let's quit the show and finish this kid, the boss might be needing us now," the second man said to his partner who nodded.

Just as they were about to attack Miles, they felt someone run in between them and when they turned around, they were shocked to see Asher.

"If you are here...wh-where is our boss then?" the first man asked in a shaky voice.

"Oh, him? Might have joined his ancestors I must say," Asher replied with a shrug.

"What! how is that possible?" the second man asked in disbelief.

"Is that the main point here? you should be thinking of how you both will kill me instead of sobbing for a dead man," Asher scoffed at the men who got angry and began to run towards him.

Asher silently watched the men with a smirk on his lips, they got close to him ready to give him a blow but their hands were caught midair. "Aren't you both too slow for an original?" he asked with a disappointed tone.

The men looked ahead but didn't see Asher anywhere in front of them, before they could turn around they were suddenly sent flying. Asher had kicked them from behind that sent them flying to a border.

*Bang*

The sound was heard as they were slammed against the border.

"H-how did he do that?" the first man asked in pain as he tried to stand up.

"You seniors are nothing but disappointments," Asher said in disdain as he walked up to the men. When he got to where they were, he gripped them by their neck and rose them up. "I'll grant you both a quick pass to hell so don't worry about the pains, you won't feel any of them," he said and tightened his grip on their neck.

They struggled to let go of his grip on their neck but all the efforts made were turned futile as life began to sip away from them. After a long moment of struggle, they could no longer remain alive and so they died.

"Hmph! such a simple death! As useless as your boss," Asher mumbled in disdain and let go of the dead bodies. He walked up to Miles and carried him, "We should leave here now!" he said and ran out of the forest.

"What did you just say!" A voice loud and filled with rage resounded through the room. The figure of a man sitting on a throne-like chair was seen staring at the kneeling man with his glowing eyes.

"Forgive me, my lord, I was unable to get the meal," the kneeling man said as he shivered.

"You haven't told me anything! Speak!" the sitting figure said in a loud voice.

"My lord, it was a kid! I have never seen a kid so strong as the one I met today. If not that I've practised my regeneration skill for years I don't think I would be here speaking with you right now. I'm sure my lackeys would be dead by now," the kneeling man replied.

"How strong is he and where is he from?" the figure asked seeming interested.

"I don't know how strong but he is stronger than me I guess, and I do not know where he is from."

"I'll give you a chance to redeem yourself, find the boy and bring him here to me!" the figure ordered.

"Y-yes my lord!" The kneeling man replied and stood up, he turned around and left the room with a frown on his face.
