Chapter 25: Heap of Stones

The next day we also took frequent breaks. We had three breaks by noon.

"Why are we stopping so much?" Sir Nigelle scratched his head.

"Why not? Did you want to be back home already?" Sir Aeron unsaddled his horse and offered it some water.

"What's the use of staying out here for so long?"

"Just wanted to let the squires have a little more experience with the expedition."

"Well, we are running low on rations, so we shouldn't stay much longer." Sir Nigelle suggested.

"Another day won't hurt." I budged in. "I like it out here. We can always hunt for food too. We can have the squire's hunt."

"Two against one." Sir Nigelle raised his hands in defeat and backed up. "If that's the case, I guess we are camping here?" Sir Aeron didn't respond. "Alright, got it. Vear, Emerik! Come with me. I'm going to teach you guys how to make traps!"

"Sir Aeron. Are you alright?" I was worried, he's been acting strange.

"Yes, why?"
