Chapter 19: The BBQ

OUTSIDE RORY'S SANCTUARY

RORY POV

We had spent nearly an hour riding around the perimeter of Oliver's house when Oliver had stopped his quad near the main trail and its intersection behind town near the sanctuary and turned off his quad. I sat behind him the entire ride, with my arms tightly wound his stomach holding on. The tingling sensations had been flowing through my body nonstop, and I noticed that as soon I touched him, they sky-rocketed throughout my body, becoming uncontrollable and intense.

I tried to focus on keeping my eyes open for wolves, but with how fast we were going, the forest seemed to whiz by in a green blur. I trusted that Oliver would have stopped had he seen or smelled a wolf.

Oliver jumped off the quad and dramatically shook each of his legs. He ran his hand through his hair nervously, and I could feel my heart pumping wildly. He was so gorgeous.
