New York (X-Men and The Brotherhood III) Part 3

'Me and my big mouth' I think as I watch telepathic kids like Adrian and Alice touch their heads.

Adrian turns to look at me and says:

"Brother Alex, a powerful telepath wants to communicate with us, what do I do?"

"Don't let him in" I tell him as I get an idea of who he is.

A few seconds later, little Maria approaches me and tells me:

"Brother, many mutants are coming, they are powerful"

When she finishes her words, with my heightened senses I manage to catch the sound of an engine.

When looking at the sky I see an aircraft, which begins to land.

"Is that our transport?" I ask Natasha.

"No" is all she says.

I recognize the aircraft, since it is the X-Men's favorite transport.

I tell Barbara and Sharon to take care of the children. I notice that Laura stays by my side without intending to move.

Without saying anything I allow her to stay.

Before the children hide in a safe place, I tell Adrian not to let the other telepath read our minds.

The little boy nods his head at my words.

I see how a total of 7 people come down from the aircraft.

All of these people are mutants. I glance at the bald man in the wheelchair who is also looking my way.

Well great, it's time to deal with the bald telepath, leader of the X-Men.

Charles Xavier.

Charles Xavier POV

At last, I was able to locate them, it was difficult but I have to admit that the telepath that protected them from my tracking is good.

It seemed that they had faced a powerful mutant, so I was able to locate them.

When I felt that mutant, I was able to relate it to the girl we were looking for.

We immediately went looking for her again.

I managed to locate her here in New York.

Arriving with the aircraft, we landed in the place where I felt the fight of the telepaths that interfered with my search.

I was surprised when I discovered that it was only a few children who evaded my search.

When I went down with the team, the first to catch my attention was the young man I saw on TV helping the girl.

"Well, it looks like it's time to talk" I say as I approach them.
