New York (X-Men and The Brotherhood IX) Part 9

Magneto approaches me as he floats inches off the ground.

"I really underestimated you" he says.

Hearing his words, I didn't say anything, I just prepared myself to face him.

As I prepare to attack him, I notice that Juggernaut has recovered.

The guy was looking at me with hate, but also within that hate was a hint of fear.

Before this guy got his helmet back, I picked it up causing Juggernaut's movements to freeze.

With a smile I tell him:

"You want this back, big guy? Then come get him"

Magneto, seeing my actions, scoffs. Using his power, he tries to snatch the helmet.

So that in the next moment he would realize that he couldn't take it from me. Surprised, he says:

"You, what are you?"

"Me? Well, I'm the homo sapiens named Alex Wayne, the guy who will kick your ass"

Destroying his helmet, I attack Juggernaut without allowing him to advance. I throw a punch that knocks him to the ground and makes him unconscious.

Magneto also begins his attack.

The bastard takes the beams out of the warehouse, deforming and throwing at me.

I nimbly dodge his attacks while trying to keep moving towards him.

The deformed beams that failed to stop my progress, change from a solid to a liquid and like a wave wanted to cover me.

Observing the metal change, I am surprised but I quickly attack it with my right arm, rendering it inactive.

And I continue on my way.

Magneto was shocked to lose his connection to that wave of metal. When he saw me approach him, he tries to control the liquid metal again, to his relief he manages to do it and attacks me with it again, while I continue to use my right arm to defend myself and nullify his control over it.

Magneto with a calm smile and seeing my actions says:

"I see, not only do you have a kind of ability on your right arm that allows you to nullify my control, but I suspect that if you touch me, you will nullify my powers like you did with Juggernaut"

Because he didn't lower his voice, everyone who doesn't know about my power are surprised to hear Magneto's words.

"So that's it" says Charles Xavier since he had been watching the fight between Alex and Magneto.

He had also realized after seeing how Alex fought, after all he is an experienced and intelligent person, and it's only a matter of time before he could see through Alex's ability.

I was not surprised that they discovered it, Magneto and Professor Xavier are intelligent so it was normal that they understood it.

Magneto looks at me and says seriously:

"You are dangerous Alex Wayne, that's why you must die here, so they don't use you against my brothers and sisters"

'Shit, this is getting more and more dangerous' I think as I keep moving towards Magneto.
