Mafia (Riri Williams III) Part 4

When the men heard my words, their gazes changed.

The one who could be their leader, annoyed attacks me with a punch but I nonchalantly stop his attack with my hand.

He is stunned so I tighten my grip and break his hand.

The man screams in pain and I, annoyed by his scream, punch him in the stomach, causing him to fall to the ground.

The remaining five men were surprised and without waiting for them to react I take them down. The people in the restaurant are surprised at my actions but I ignored them. I grab one of the men by the neck and drag him out of the place, Laura and Riri follow me not to be left behind.

Arriving at an alley, I throw the man to the ground and without waiting I ask him:

"Who sent you for the girl?"

"I won't tell you bastard" says the man refusing to answer.

I give him a cold look and say:

"Then I'll make you talk" I move Laura and Riri away so they don't see what I'm going to do.

A few minutes of screaming in pain from the man, I made him tell me everything I wanted to know.

What surprised me was that he wasn't sent by The Kingpin but by someone else. That person's name surprised me as well, since I know him from comics.

Zebediah Killgrave, the Purple Man.

That bastard is the one who ruins Jessica Jones's life.

According to what the man told me Killgrave learned of The Kingpin's interest in the girl and the bastard wanted her to expand his business in weapons.

I can't take Riri to the Ancient One's mansion because she wasn't there and the mansion's guardian took the children to Tibet for a break.

So for now I'll take her to Jessica's apartment.

When we get to Jessica's apartment, I tell Laura to take Riri for a bath since she needs one.

The girl has a worn backpack, before she entered the bathroom, I ask her permission to check it.

In it I find the presumed weapon.

It resembles Iron Man's mechanical arm, just a bit clunky. I put it on and to my surprise it adapts to my arm.

I use it for a moment and take it off, now I understand how smart the girl is and also why those bastards want her.

About 10 minutes later Laura and Riri come out of the bathroom, with clean clothes provided by Laura.

The two girls sit in front of me and when I was going to explain my plan to them, the door opens and Jessica walks in, surprised to see me.

"Oh, Alex, you're finally back" she says, but her face changes when she sees Laura and another girl with me.

"Alex…we need to talk about your preferences" Jessica says.

My face twitches at her words.

'This girl... seems like she needs me to remind her of my preferences' I think annoyed by her words.
