Peter was doing his hero job like every day.

After a few hours of patrolling, he took a break on top of a gargoyle.

Two days ago, he had spent a very pleasant time in Genosha.

If it was before, people would say he's crazy for thinking Mutants were nice to be around.

But nowadays, the treatment towards the Mutants was much better, at least the anti-Mutant protests are not a daily bread anymore.

Peter had only recently finished school and thanks to the support of his teacher Natasha, he had a scholarship to university.

He had already gotten a job as a photographer and ironically, it was about shooting Spider-Man, so it was a pretty easy job.

And most importantly, he has a girlfriend.

Her name is Mary Jane Watson and she knows about his identity as Spider-Man.

In other words, Peter is a winner in life.

"You sure like to waste your time, Spider" a voice said, drawing Spider-Man's attention.

"I thought you were busy with your work, isn't that right, Ghost-Spider?" Spider-Man asked as he recognized his Spider partner.

"I finished it on time, so I took advantage of my break to be able to patrol this sector" Ghost-Spider answered as she sat on the edge of the building.

"I guess you used the new feature on the suit, huh?" Spider-Man asked a little curious.

Ghost-Spider nods her head and answers:

"Yeah, this feature is extraordinary, with it we can get there faster when a serious problem occurs"

The new feature Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider are talking about it's part of the upgrade that Riri did to their suits.

Teleport Portals. Riri attached magical abilities to the Spider duo's suits. In addition to that, they could also create energy ropes and create small Mirror Dimension that will allow them to avoid some catastrophe like a bomb blast when they can't stop it.

Those upgrades alone have increased the duo's capabilities and they were happy about that.

But that has made their teacher become stricter, according to her since they received improvements in their suit, their skills must also be at their level to give them balance.

Just remembering yesterday's training, Spider-Man shuddered in fear.

Even with their super strength and dexterity, Black Widow still kicks their ass with ease.

"You're right, it's really very useful" Spider-Man commented.

"I'm really glad that Black Widow is our mentor, as she has helped us a lot and made our job as a hero more comfortable" Ghost-Spider said calmly.

Spider-Man doesn't say anything as his silence is all it takes to say that he agrees with her words.

At that moment, they hear a disturbance coming from the streets below the building where they are. They quickly look down and from what they see it looks like a car accident, but what surprised them is that they didn't realize it until it happened, which seemed very strange to them.

"Come on Spider, it's time to do our job" Ghost-Spider said as she jumped off the building.

Spider-Man followed her without arguing.

When they arrived, they saw a school bus stopped irregularly, as if it had avoided something at the last moment, but when they saw the dent, they realized that it did not make it.

They quickly approached to see the victim and take him to a hospital, but when they saw him, they were shocked.

"H-hey Spider, did this guy steal your suit?" Ghost-Spider asked nervously.

Spider-Man doesn't respond and is stunned to see another Spider-Man in front of him.

The Spider-Man on the ground starts to get up but with difficulty as he looks badly hurt, and the Spider duo realize it wasn't entirely from the accident.

That Spider-Man looks around and when he sees the Spider duo he's surprised, but quickly gets anxious and says:

"We've got to get out of here! Those guys are coming for us and we'll be in trouble if they catch us"

"Calm down buddy, you just got run over, first we have to treat your wounds" Spider-Man said trying to calm him down.

"That's not important! Those who are chasing me will be here very soon and if we don't escape, they will kill us" the Spider-Man AU said.

"He's right Spider, we have to get out of here since we're attracting a lot of attention" Ghost-Spider said to her Spider partner realizing that people were approaching and were recording with their cell phones.

"Alright. Follow us buddy, so we can talk better" Spider-Man said getting ready to leave.

Spider-Man AU relaxes at his words and nods his head.

But just as they were about to leave, a few meters above the school bus, a spatial distortion occurs that opens a portal, from which a person emerges who, with a surprised tone and looking at the arachnid trio, says:

"But what a surprise, meeting three arachnids on this Earth that my father wishes for, it seems that I wasn't wrong to follow you arachnid"

Ghost-Spider and Spider-Man frown under their mask, as this man gives them bad vibes, as if he threatens their existence.

Instead, Spider-Man AU turns pale.

This one in front of him is the cause of his present state.

He is a stocky man with a serious and calm look but when he looks at the arachnid trio, he makes a sneer full of disdain.

"Who are you?" Spider-Man asked, staying alert at all times.

"I am Daemos the Inheritor, that is all you need to know before you become my food" Daemos answered with a smile on his face that sent chills down the spine of the Spider trio.

Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider look seriously at this man since by his words, he has no good intentions.

"We have to get out of here, that man wants us" Spider-Man AU said quickly as he knew the strength of that bastard.

"Oh! Your friend is right, I came for you but if you dare to leave, then I will massacre everyone in this place until you show up again" Daemos said coldly.

His words chilled the arachnid trio.

Now they knew that their only option was to fight.
