"How are you, can you fight?" Verna asked her rescued siblings coldly, but there was a hint of concern in her eyes.

Morlun doesn't say anything and just breaks the collars that were placed on their necks.

"Don't worry Verna, we can still do it, but we won't be of much help unless we feed ourselves" Daemos said, a little pale but touched by his sister's concern.

"I want to kill that bastard, he dared to use us as laboratory rats to discover our weaknesses" Brix said furiously with red eyes and releasing a large amount of bloodlust directed towards Alex.

Solus' face changes upon hearing that and he looks warily at Alex.

"And I thought you liked it, after all you kept talking calling your mommy who is waiting for you in hell" Alex said with a mocking smile upon hearing Brix's words.

"I'll kill you!" Brix growled angrily intending to charge at Alex but Verna stopped him.

He and his other siblings love their deceased mother and it is a great insult for someone to humiliate them by using her.

Solus' expression turns ghastly and aberrant killing intent erupts from his body.

He loves his wife and that bastard insulting her made him so mad.

He won't leave there until he kills him.

"What's wrong with you, are you very sensitive? Hahaha, you guys are really funny. You murder parents, children and grandchildren in cold blood just for a stupid prophecy and here you get angry because of my words, you really are hypocrites who do not realize that you are being manipulated" Alex said, laughing coldly and sarcastically.

He didn't have much information about how Solus became an Inheritor because it was a long time ago that he read about it, but from the Ancient One he had heard that behind them was a very dangerous evil being.

Only knowing that, Alex was able to conclude that the Inheritors were used by that entity to fulfill its own ends.

Solus' face darkened at Alex's words.

He knows very well that, since the day he became this, his destiny was always controlled but he didn't worry, as long as he destroyed the Web of Life and Destiny, they would be free and he could get his wife back.

What puzzled him was that this man knew, that only made him more cautious.

"Be careful, the scientific brat who is friends with this bastard has created weapons capable of hurting us and can even kill us" Bora said quickly recovering from her weakened state as she remembered how that girl mercilessly shot her to test if her weapon worked.

She shuddered with fear as she recalled those moments of pain.

Riri had left a psychological shadow on Bora.

If the girl knew that, she would be complaining since she had barely hurt them, besides they were bad and didn't need sympathy.

"That's true, be careful" Brix also said as he remembered his torture and shuddered.

Solus, Morlun, Verna and Daemos are shocked and horrified as they didn't expect that there would be someone who could find a weakness in them in just three days.

What made them fearful the most is that it was a girl who discovered it.

Daemos was surprised as Riri only needed the twins for the experiment and he was completely ignored, which could be said to be very lucky.

"Hahaha, don't be too scared, I'm not so weak to use those weapons, I'm enough to crush you. Besides, even if I wanted to, the arachnids have taken them all, after all, where they are going, they will be very necessary" Alex said with an amused smile.

"You!" Solus said with a serious expression and got an idea of where the arachnids went.

Although they can kill themselves and escape, they are at risk of being finished off by the arachnids, since several minutes have passed since they left.

Solus realizes that what he supposed is true and his expression is not very good, after all, in that place are the brains of the whole family.

The only safe way to go is to defeat Alex and then destroy this place to get their energy back and then help Jennix.

The only thing he hoped was that his son could protect their brains until they arrived.

"Hey, stop wasting time. Are you going to attack or do I have to bully you?" Alex asked with a relaxed expression.

Before the Inheritors could respond, Alex appeared in front of Solus and attacked him with his sword.

The patriarch evaded the slash with great difficulty

Morlun and Verna charged in readiness but Alex ducked to avoid Verna's clutches and using his free hand grabbed Morlun's fist, and using his strength, he threw him at Daemos who was approaching.

Upon impact, Morlun and Daemos rolled a few meters on the ground.

Verna, who wanted to attack again, was surprised when she received a kick directly in the face from Alex, the force of the blow made Verna's body lean in a strange way, before colliding with the ground.

Solus recovered, clenched his fists gathering strength and charged at Alex, who blocked the attack with his sword and to his surprise took a few steps back after the impact.

Alex raised his eyebrow, since although he is not using all his physical strength it was already surprising that Solus makes him back down.

But Alex didn't worry, his job was to delay them and wait for the arachnids to do their part.

With those thoughts, he charged at the Inheritors.
