The Inheritors Part 30

From various portals, the group of arachnids led by Psylocke, Ironheart, Jessica Jones, Rogue, Silk, and the Superior Spider-Man arrived on Earth where the Inheritors' labs were located which were run by Jennix.
In that place they had two missions.
Destroy the cloning machines and get the brains of the Inheritors.
With that, they will have complete control of the situation and the Inheritors will be restricted.
"Move, I've already shared the location of the labs with you, so if we want to disable all of them, we need to destroy the one in New York" Ironheart reported calmly, as a large fleet of Ironheart version suit floated behind her.
She is wearing the Ironheart suit made of state-of-the-art nanotechnology of vibranium and adamantium alloy.
She is also equipped with the Ten Rings, which possess extraordinary abilities.
She looked very heroic.
"According to the coordinates, we are in New York, which saves us time and we can go to the lab and attack them unawares" the Superior Spider-Man said as he checked the information on his digital watch.
"The lab is five minutes south of here, let's go" Ironheart said as she rose into the sky and flew in that direction, the suits automatically following her.
Rogue surrounded herself with a reddish energy, which caused her to levitate and follow Ironheart.
Jessica also flying followed them.
Psylocke used her teleportation to keep up with them.
The arachnids were not far behind either and followed them.

Four Minutes Later
The group caught a glimpse of a large building and from the memories and information shared by Wanda, that was the place.
"Miss Williams, there are many Inheritors-like lifeforms that are active within the building" Alexa quickly reported through Ironheart's suit after scanning the building.
"How many there are?" Ironheart asked with a frown, but she wasn't too worried since that was within her expectations.
"There's a total of 300 people" Alexa answered.
Ironheart quickly informs them of the current situation inside the building.
And everyone present becomes serious.
"What is there to worry about? If it was before, it would be troublesome, but now we have these things so it will be easy" the Superior Spider-Man said showing them the anti-Inheritor weapon seeing the tension of the arachnid group.
He is not good at improving mood but he did his best.
The arachnids are surprised but they also calm down as they remember the weapons that were given to them.
With them, a single shot would disable the Inheritors.
Just as they were going to enter, an energy field covers the entire building and a voice is heard speaking from inside and everyone can hear it.
"It's interesting, I never thought so many arachnids would come this way. Fortunately, I prepared beforehand, otherwise I'd be in big trouble" the voice belonged to Jennix.
Ironheart and the others frown, this is getting complicated.
"Alexa, analyze" she said softly and her suit's screen lit up.
"It's a rudimentary energy field that blocks access, not just physical, but basic dimensional abilities like teleportation" Alexa reported after analyzing it.
Hearing the information, Psylocke tries to teleport inside but fails.
"Alexa, analyze the power source and find the escape points of excess power" Ironheart said as she looked at the power field.
She realizes that this barrier is a cheap version of her own space-blocking barrier.
But she has to admit that this Inheritor has talent, unfortunately he met her.
"Miss Williams, the power source looks like the Kree engines and it's located on the top floor"
"I've located three breakpoints on the barrier, but the quickest one to break into is the one that covers the first floor" Alexa reported.
"I see" Ironheart said as she gently descended upon reaching the first floor. Without saying anything, the Ironheart suits behind Riri gathered a large amount of energy in their palm repulsors and fired at the barrier.
The impact causes the barrier's energy to fluctuate and after seconds a large hole is created.
"Quick! Everyone gets in before it's restored" Ironheart said entering the first floor noticing that the barrier began to close.
The girls and the arachnids wasted no time and quickly entered.
The barrier was restored, but Ironheart's group had already entered the building.
And then, they were surprised as there were a lot of people on the first floor, but the most striking thing was that they were all identical.
Some arachnids recognized him as they had previously faced that Inheritor.
It's Jennix.
Riri frowns as she knows that all those Inheritors are clones of an original, and she is sure that he is waiting for them on the top floor.
"Hahaha, come on arachnids, give your all to survive my selves" a clone of Jennix said with a smile full of madness.
Expressionless, she shot at that clone using the anti-Inheritor weapon.
The bullet entered the clone's chest, seconds later, he spat out blood and fell to the ground.
That clone was barely breathing and in seconds he died.
The other clones were speechless and shocked.
At that moment, the expressions of the Jennix clones stiffened as they saw that the arachnids had those weapons and pointed them at them.
As they were simply puppets, the arachnids had no mercy and filled them with bullets, with their abilities it was easy to hurt them.
The clones cursed internally, these arachnids were too ruthless.
Thus, with overwhelming force, they began to head towards the top floor.

On the top floor, Jennix's real body was inside a strange spider-like machine, his back and head connected to the suit via wires.
He currently had a contemplative look on his face as he watched the arachnids come towards him through the security cameras.
"I have no choice, it seems I'll have to use my last resort" Jennix muttered.
Things were getting interesting.
