<p>Those words weighed like a heavy stone in Susan's mind as they re-entered the Soiree room. She shook her head to organise her thought. Of course, she would love nothing more than to carry the man's child, but not in the way Elora had explained it.</p>

Viscount William's head rotated around the room in search of Susan and when he spotted her alone in a corner, his lips lifted.
