CHAPTER 23

"We are almost there," He said for the hundreth. Susan tried to put a lid on her temper to not smack the man behind her. Those were the only four words he had been able to come up with in the past two hours of their horse ride to the unknown. And the fact that the infuriating blaggard had refused to tell her where they going, didn't make it any easier. 

"Tell me that one more time, I will push you off this horse." Her lips set into a thin line as felt the man's chest rumble with laughter. 

"But it's the truth. We will soon get there."

"You have been saying those words for the past two hours! It feels like we are travelling out of the country on a horse."

"Forty minutes, not two hours. It's your curiosity that is making this wonderful journey an unpleasant one for you."
