CHAPTER 36

Susan sat in front of her vanity table, a deep frown perched on her face as she eyed the envelope that sat on her mirror stand. She half expected something to jump out of the envelope and attack her or for someone to knock on her door, declaring that the letter had been sent to the wrong address. Everywhere was quiet. It was just her and the mysterious letter. It wouldn't be mysterious anymore if she read the contents, right? With that conclusion in mind, she grabbed the envelope and broke the seal.

She was mesmerised by the calligraphy. The handwriting quickly made it to her list of the most beautiful writings she had ever seen. She wanted to stare at the writing a little longer but knew that would be a waste of time, the earlier she read the letter the better for her. The letter read,
