Running in her wolf form was exhilarating. The warm feeling of the sand on her feet made everything worst. She was enjoying it. She loved every moment of it. She could feel the crisp sound of the leaves on her feet as she continued running.

If it was up to the wolf, it would stay in the forest, forever. Just running and breathing the cool air.

"Seriously, you need to calm down just a little bit. I am a little bit scared here and I am trying everything to get back to the packhouse." Cassie talked to her wolf.

The wolf wiggled its tail, and Cassie snickered. Why was the wolf acting as if she was not her?

"Are you really my wolf, why aren't you seeing how the situation is at the moment. By the goddess, can you just stop doing that? Please?" Cassie pleaded.

The wolf let out an excited howl.

Cassie groaned and murmured, "is it possible to separate me from you so I can smack the shit out of you?"
