Chapter 56: Sunshine On My Shoulder

“Okay-okay,” slurred Nori, “So who would win in a marathon, Darth Vader or Chewbacca?”

“That’s a no-brainer. Darth Vader would probably have an asthma attack by the 2nd mile.”

"Yeah but he could force-choke chewie and still stroll across the finish line."

"No way man. Your logic doesn't apply here."

Nori giggled and pushed Brad through the door to their suite.

He stumbled and laughed, "I still can't believe you asked the server for ketchup. The look on his face was pure gold."

"He looked like I'd asked for his blood in a crystal goblet."

They both erupted in more giggles and Nori closed the door behind her, “But the Ferris Wheel was definitely my favorite.”

“You are totally lying. You were basically glued to me when we got to the top. I still can’t feel my left hand.”

Nori shot him a withering look, “Well, at least it wasn’t your neck.”

A soft jazzy tune played somewhere outside their window as the Eiffel tower sparkled against the night sky.
