Chapter 61: Three Years Later

The city of Tokyo was brimming with life and energy despite the late hour of the night. Its citizens moved around, energetically discussing and interacting among themselves.

They walked around with sleek and nice devices in their hands. Slim and transparent phones were held by the vast majority of the people that could be found in Tokyo.

Over the past three years, Blume Corporations had progressed a lot, its success now surpassing Lexcorp of metropolis.

They had set up a natural farm market where they sold freshly grown fruits and the likes. Where it would take over a year to grow the crops that were needed, a bit of alchemy on Sora's part sped up its growth exponentially.

Of course even with the magically enhanced soil to help with the growth, he still had to hire actual farmers to take care of the crops and harvest them.

Naturally grown products were worth more than you'd think they'd be. Out of nostalgia and remembrance, Sora had bought and now owned the hospital his mother worked in before she died.

With more technological inventions for the public, he was easily the richest individual under eighteen.

Of course more than a few people didn't like it and many attempts at sabotage had been thwarted. Even Lexcorp had tried once but Sora had more than enough time to get back at them.

In a large mansion in the more luxurious part of Tokyo, a black haired female laid on a bed with a peaceful expression on her face.

*RRRIINGGG!!!*

The alarm on the stand beside the bed rang loudly, waking her up from her peaceful slumber. Her opened eyes revealed gorgeous blue eyes that went well with her soft and beautiful face.

She let out a groan as she groggily got off the bed, her black nightgown covering her more than modest body.

She walked towards the bathroom, snapping her fingers as she passed the small work table at the side of the room.

The radio turned on with a short static sound and a deep but smooth voice talking out of it.

"…in other news, Young Japanese billionaire Makoto Sora just concluded talks with the king of Vlatava and from the way things are looking, it's going to be wonderful partnership. He arrived o…"

She tuned out the radio as she washed her face in the sink. The water dripped off her face, leaving her face with a natural but beautiful look. The kind of beauty that top models would kill for.

Just as she exited the bathroom, a figure appeared in a black flash in the middle of the room.

A young teenage male with long shiny black hair that formed bangs that hung over his face, covering some of it stood in the middle of the room.

He was a bit taller than the female but they weren't too far apart in height with him being five foot six inches and her being one inch shorter.

"You sure took your time coming back." The female said sarcastically, her voice smooth and alluring.

"The plane ride was too long so I thought I'd just skip it." The male said with a smirk as the girl walked closer to him.

"And if someone tried wonders where you disappeared to?" She asked as she stopped in front of him.

"They'll find a clone there in my place." He answered coolly as the female leaned in closer, sealing his lips with her own.

They stayed connected like that for a few moments before they finally separated, the female having a pleased look on her face.

"I missed you Sora…" She said to the male's amusement as he spoke.

"It's only been a month." The now identified Sora said with a small laugh.

"That's still something." She said with a pout, staring into his eyes.

After a brief moment of silence they both burst out into laughter. They separated from each other's embrace as Sora goes to lay his back on the bed.

"You know, one of these days you'll get caught." She thought, staring at the teen lying tiredly on the bed with a smile on her face.

"Not happening Zatanna. Besides, it can easily be fixed. It's not like you aren't happy that I came back early." He said to the girl who sat at the edge of the bed.

After the first year of success when Blume Corporation had made more than enough money for him to live comfortably, Sora bought and renovated a mansion in the rich part of the city.

He had more than enough space for his activities and with him own the spaces around it, he also didn't need to worry about unnecessary attention from neighbors.

"Where's June?" Sora asked.

Just like he said, he had June and Tai come from the sanctuary. He had special plans for them both.

Under his tutelage, they had both grown immensely with the help of his teaching skill. Tai had essentially become his shadow, his hidden enforcer.

"She's at the sanctuary making sure things are running smoothly." Zatanna answered.

After he had trained those two, he set on to continue what he had intended to do all along. He returned to the sanctuary for a short period of time.

The sanctuary had more than enough students and individuals that resided there to fully realize his goal. He had formed his own secret unit under a name that he shamelessly stole; Anbu.

Just like the league of assassins, he had his own forces ready to follow his commands the moment he uttered it. The difference between them was that to his personal estimation, his anbu were more skilled than the league.

After all, he was in charge of their training.

His menu had changed quite a bit as the years passed. With the knowledge of the events that were possibly coming, he wasn't idle.

He had spent the past three years busy with various things but his goal never changed. He had access to many rare resources and none of them had gone to waste in creating the ultimate weapon in his opinion.

He didn't want to settle for anything less so he had waited till he maxed out Magic Craftsmanship before he started creating the Chronicle.

With how long it took to create magical items , that itself took many months. Creating the Chronicle had taken over a year and that was while he used potions and other methods to speed it up.

While doing that, he picked up more than a few tricks to make a lot of things easier or merely out of interest.

He picked up many things that would in one way or another further his goal or sate his curiosity. Despite all his efforts and methods, the template didn't go further than that.

"Call her back. The first phase of project Gēmā has been completed. It's time for the next phase to begin." He said, his eyes turning red as three tomoe spun and merged to form a six pointed star with a small three pointed star inside it.
