You're Right, These are All Dreams

After walking around some more and getting lunch with Lantis, June walked back to where he parked his car in the space before the agency. It's just that… he saw Alexander and Prudence leaving for their lunch. These two seemed to be inseparable these days.

It's just that June didn't seem to realize that they could have been seeing each other now, after doing a movie that was a very instantaneous hit. He just thought of that when he saw Prudence linking her arm with Alexander… before their eyes fell onto him.

It was good that Lantis was not around for the reason that he was making a phone call at the side. After all, June didn't need him to fetch the car.

"Fancy meeting you today, June." Prudence smiled a little, trying to look amicable despite the seemingly angry glare coming from Alexander. She even hooked her hair behind her ear as if asking June to look at her alone. "Did you get called for a new project?"

"No." Seeing that speaking with them wouldn't be fruitful, June just looked away from them. He just needed to get to his car and wait for Lantis to show up inside all of a sudden. No need to waste time on these two clowns.

It's just that when he continued walking, Alexander broke away from the arm link and raced June to the parking spaces. He even stood in front of June and crossed his arms in front of his chest. "Hey, I heard you said you're better than me. Is it because of those shitty sample takes? You think, just because we had that, you're a hotshot now?"

June didn't want to have an encounter with this man. If something happened, it would surely be turned against him. Moreover, they were in front of the agency—Alexander didn't have anything to worry about. June just snorted and tried to sidestep the rising star. "No comment, bruh."

"That's a load of bull, you know." Alexander stepped to the side, blocking June once again. "Let's go, hotshot. If you want to square something with me, let's do it here."

"…are you crazy? You think I'll give in to your stupid bullshit?" June laughed out before putting his hands on his hips and puffing his chest out. He flashed his grin, but it was nothing kind. He never had a villain role before, but he was aching to floor the face of this brat. "Let me get to my car, or I'll ask someone to run you over, punk."

Alexander gave June a once-over. Due to the management's freedom to take a role away from this guy, Alexander really thought that June was a pushover. Now that the man was making a stand, he wondered how thick this man's resolve really was. After that stunt he did with Lantis Castelli, this June Verrier thought that he could overtake an Alexander Reed?

The rising star only laughed out and shrugged. "Run me over? How could a small-time character like you run me over? You're just a B-list actor who thought you were on my level. You really think I can't see how much you tremble at the thought of touching a lock of my hair."

For some reason, June's grin started to subside. It was indeed true that he was once scared of damaging the management and the reared stars, that he was not even fighting as much as he wanted. There was nothing good that could come out of it.

"Yeah, you're right. These are all dreams…" June looked away, dropping his arms. He closed his eyes and listened to the small laughs that Alexander made… only for June to tear his eyes open again. With a meaningful smile, he turned to the other male. "But that was before. Starting today, there won't be any mercy from me."

"What do you mean?" Alexander was taken aback by the aura coming from the other man. However, before he could say anything, he heard someone smashing the horn to warn him. When he turned quickly, he saw June's car charging towards his position. "Fuck!"

In his fright, he just tripped n his own legs and fell down to his ass on the ground. The car stopped right in front of his knees, the warmth of the engine kissing the face of the other actor. The engine then revved as if talking to Alexander. Soon enough, the car pulled back and swerved to avoid the man that remained seated on the ground.

June only brought his eyes up and saw how his own car pulled up next to him. Lantis was already inside, but the driver's seat was actually vacant. A smile graced June's lips before he entered the car to drive the car on his own.

Soon, he eyed the rearview mirror, only seeing how Prudence came to check up on Alexander. The male A-lister didn't even get up still. At this, June only drove away.

"That man thought that he can scare you now that I am here." Lantis only chuckled. "I am certain that your agency will hear about this before the day ends. You must be ready to face your big boss tomorrow. Shall I accompany you?"

"You should take a producer spot first. I'm pretty sure that he will be very guarded against you if he finds out that I will be coming to you after this," June answered with a soft voice. His boss might not be a Castelli, but he was so sure that that man could put a dent in his career permanently if he was not careful. However, right now, he wanted to celebrate his freedom.

That's right. He was free… now that he could fight back.

The silver Audi A3 rolled into the university's parking space sometime before three in the afternoon. When some that were familiar with June's car saw it, they knew that he had arrived. They quickly went to watch the person that would come out. After all, they might be mistaken.

As for Brent, he had received a message from earlier that June was en route to the school. He went to welcome his friend as soon as the man stepped out of his car. Lantis should have been there with him, but the demon just decided to sit this one out. He could just come to June's side when the actor got in trouble, anyway.

June got out and took off his colored spectacles, greeting the film teacher. However, from the far side, he didn't realize that Brent had a familiar guest.
