Harm the Boy

It's just that… it was just a child. He was roughly seven or eight, but the look in his eyes didn't reflect the innocent gaze June should find. Tears streaked down the kid's face, but his trembling body was held by the creepy things as if they were aiding him. The creepy things… were like curtains dancing in the wind, but they were producing a low moan to derail someone's mind.

June moved his eyes to stare at the creepy things. The smell was coming from them as if they were walking seasoned meat that Eurkodach could use in his gourmet food. He didn't know what they were, but he knew one thing—he wanted to put them in his mouth.

"Don't get any closer!" The child called out as he noticed how June continued walking toward him. He then looked behind him and saw the lights coming from the distant ground. The hospital was only seven floors up, but he knew well that a child was not built to survive that.
