The Trial

The Mysterious armored man looked at Aavesh in a very stern manner.

"I see that you do not have the ability to access any form of Mythic Power - A shame, But that is what happens to those who deal with Filth like the Abyss"

His scalding words held incredible power as Aavesh could feel his soul in pure discomfort as the Armored Man Spoke.

"But You got off easy -" The Armored Man Said in an incredibly Harsh Tone, which made Aavesh feel crisis.

"Others have suffered far worse than you ever imagine, I see that your Parents have spoiled you and have not corrected you appropriately- It falls to me-"

"FATHER STOP!"

Antrix yelled out in anger, This Time the armored Man turned to look at Antrix with critical eyes and let him speak.

"IT WAS NOT HIS FAULT FATHER- SOMETHING ELSE POSSESSED HIM! HE'S BACK NOW AND HAS SUFFERED ENOUGH- STOP THIS FARCE OF A TRIAL AND LEAVE MY FAMILY ALONE!"

The Armored Man only titled his head with a disdainful smile while looking at Aavesh.

Aavesh suddenly felt, something bad was about to happen

" Ah, Not his fault, Not his choice you say? Oh Aavesh - You did not tell them the full story did you? Mythic Power can not be forced even if a Being is Possessed, It is a crucial Rule with how the world works - Brat, You forgot to account for that in your 'Story' didn't You? And these Idiots believed it- The Possessing spirit chose you and you alone, And somehow you were 'saved' by a being from the Machina?"

This time everyone apart from Aavesh was in shock- and they looked at Aavesh who did not retort a single word spoken by the Armored Man. But why? Could it be that he Really chose the Abyss before? But why!?

Aavesh could feel the shocked and hurt-filled eyes of everyone around him - It was filled with sadness, hurt and disappointment. He did not say a word more, knowing that the cat was out of the Bag. He did not want to disappoint his family by revealing that he had indeed chosen the Path of a Demon to fight Demons.

But he felt he disappointed them even more by hiding the truth from the people who trusted him.

He now really felt he had fallen into an Abyss and ruined something Precious to his heart.

The Armored Man then continued further, not careing about the Emotions of those present in the room.

"You were never possessed in the first place, At least not at first, You have a lot of Blood on your hands, You have willingly killed"

Antrix froze at that statement while Kriti covered her mouth in shock.' Aavesh, Our Child - killed? willingly?'

"-But you did not kill a single innocent being instead your hands are stained by Demon Blood - You have quite the killing intent for them, You do not let it bleed into your life- Good, But it has left its trauma within you and you not seeking proper care after this is very neglectful, One Day it would bite you back if you don't deal with it..." The Armored Man paused as he stared at Aavesh, as if now looking at him less harshly but still harsh enough.

An unknown weight had been removed from Antrix and Kriti's hearts- He did not kill any innocent! But they would still care for him even if he did do something worse- He was their child. They would do anything for his safety and happiness.

The Armored Man spoke again, this time with one of his Eyebrows raised as he saw Aavesh acknowledge his deductions without any complaint.

" I find something really curious about your case- You were given a gift of memories from a Higher Being - But it Broke you did it not? I know a broken mind when I see one, Aavesh yours is torn with so much Hate and Rage - and Guilt? But I see those wounds healing slowly as well- meaning you have finally started to let some of it go"

This... is what happened? Suddenly they realized the slight differences in his behaviour - His nightmares, his affections and that slight distant tone. Aavesh had changed... Something within their hearts told them that those 'memories' were more of a curse than a gift.

They could see Aavesh's eyes tremble at the Armored Man's Explanation and his facial reaction turn into surprise and then a deathly silent tone

This Time Aavesh replied back in a dull, forlorn tone, with a faint building up of Anger,

"You don't know what it feels like to see your own brother die twice - or see your sister Eaten alive, see your Parents die! SEE EVERYONE DIE! You don't know what its like to be the 'Lucky' One - Survivor, I have seen things and done things that you might consider questionable, Morally Grey Outright! But did you know that I know your future? You are from the Galactic Core right?"

"Yes- Go On, I havent even told you my name or my position, But you rightfully guessed where I am from- Not Bad-"

A crazed look was filled within Aavesh's eyes, as he felt mentally stressed at the whole situation and just wanted to vent out his feelings, Since the Armored Man already deduced what had happened to him, he might as well return the favor.

"You want to know what happens right? Here's a Spoiler - The People of the Inner Rings and the Core had all died - We never received any reply from you all for years despite using cutting edge communications technology and Our diviners and fate tellers would lose their ability and life span everytime they tried - You all were gone, finished- gone like smoke. And the invasion - It Took Everything From Me, I wasn't going to let it happen a second time, Unfortunately it happened by some twisted luck that the Invasion had become Pre Poned!"

" So I knew what was going to happen, No One would believe me, So I took things into my own hands- I chose to be a Demon, I chose the Abyss for the Power it gave me and I wanted my own Justice done on those Demons - What does it matter to you- who did not even show up to fight against them in this Timeline as well!"
