Among hordes of dead Illithids, A small gas masked kid crawled over several Ripped apart Body parts of Illithid origin while he himself was covered with a lot of Illithid Blood but he looked very exhausted.
An Illithid Mindflayer suddenly appeared and tried to mentally control him but the kid threw a skull mark in an instant which makes the Illithid shudder in fear.
As the Illithid becomes distracted, the kid blended into the surroundings and became invisible.
*Stchk
A moment later a tiny black crimson fist pierced out of the Illithid's stomach, which caused it to turn black immediately, immobilizing the Illithid.
*POW
The stealth now wears off, as the kid pulls his arm out and smacks the Illithid to the ground.
But Mindflayer then launches a Mind blast at the Kid who braces for the attack.
*Boom
*Spurt
The kid spat blood while his orifices also began to bleed.
But the kid shrugged it off and approached the Mindflayer with a strange grey mist forming around his fist.
*POWWW!
The kid punched the face of the Mindflayer causing it to cave in from his sheer physical strength.
Blood splattered around and the Illithid stopped moving.
The kid then frowned and stomped the already disfigured head of the Mindflayer, crushing it to meat pulp.
The kid then let out a few gasps of exhaustion- then suddenly,
He felt to strong slimy hands lift his head up and he felt his skull squeezed by Tentacles and he could even feel the Wet teeth trying to dig in.
The kid did not panic, instead his hands were with black Crimson Energy as he got hold of the tentacles that had suddenly got him and used his full strength to rip it off!
*Snap
*Roar
The kid immediately got out of the tentacles restraint and rolled over to turn around and face his assailant.
It was a more regal and weakened Mindflayer, but the kid had been fighting this Mindflayer for days and days together.
But this Mindflayer was a Ulitharid- A Noble among the Illithid Species- Just second in command to the Elder Brain.
It had a disgusting overpowered Regenerative capability that made it hard for Even Mindbreakers to kill it successfully on one try.
"You've been hounding me for Days- well, I will need to change tactics", the kid muttered.
The Elements around them began to fluctuate uneasily as the as the Kid's Eyes glowed with Cold Blue Light.
"Cosmic Rays - Low infusion"
The Ulitharid immediately attempted to block as the kid shot a Beam of white Energy from his palm onto the him, which sizzled his skin.
'Mind Will Break!", the Ulitharid furiously shouted out- sending a concentrated surge of Black Mental Power onto the kid.
The kid frowned and his muscles struggled for a second before relaxing, the kid cracked his neck and spoke,
"That's not bad actually- But to try to kill me with mental power- none of you are capable!"
The Ulitharid immediately felt a dangerous feeling was over it and decided to flee.
"After all that you wanna flee now?", the kid chuckled and Silver Mythic Power surged from his hand as The Elements around him became even more agitated.
"Ugh I didn't want to use it- But I seriously can't wait more- SYNCHRONIZE! YAMA'S DESCENT!", the kid's power levels immediately jumped and Black Flames Erupted from as a shadow of Burning skull appeared on his head.
With a Terrifying speed, he chased the Ulitharid like the God of Death while it screamed in fear, wondering why this Puny Human had become so Monstrous.
'STAAAWPPP!',The Ulitharid finally decided to communicate and raised his hand to ask the Kid to stop chasing.
But the Kid didn't, in a blur the Ulitharid was Incinerated to Black ash.
"Yama's Descent works best one a single target at a Beginner Level, to reach the level of that instructor I must transform affinity to Intent- Cough cough", The kid removed his mask, revealing Aavesh's tired face as he spat black blood out which Burned on the ground like acid.
Aavesh quickly wiped his mouth as he felt very tired- It had been too long since he was in the simulation.
Although only two hours passed in reality, Aavesh had experienced years of constant Combat without dying even once or hearing Coral's voice.
No food, No sleep, Nobody but damn Illithids to talk to- Not that they had friendly conversations- it was mostly "kill this brat" or "spare my life" kind of crap.
It was here where Aavesh felt a huge shift in his mind, even in his last life he was not so numb to killing people like he was now- It was a complete tonal shift for him.
It was a simulation within his own mind but everything felt so goddamn real.
Maybe he was fighting against memories of Illithids from Coral's mind.
His danger sense was always active here, so he was not surprised by almost any sneak attack, he had also learned how to use his Third Eye in it's closed form.
He was now had a 360 Degree of upto 5m around him now with his Third Eye, but it took a long time to master it along with a new created move called Cosmic Rays- he created it with the Nine Elemental Energy in mind and took inspiration from the infusion based attacks of the Kineticist class.
It was still rudimentary, but the combination of all nine Primal Elements had a strange affect of slightly damaging the Illithid Physique- meaning it should be near lethal to Non Illithids.
But this move took a long time to execute... For now he would focus on this later after he reached Stage 1.
He had to admit the endless opponents he faced here gave him a new sense of combat experience- His mind was used to Mental and Charm Based attacks and it wouldn't be dazed when encountering one.
He may have developed an inkling towards the concept of Psionic Resistance and Mental Strength Control.
As it turned out, Oblivion Element is one have of the foremost prerequisite - Mental Power and Control were the other crucial half.
You can't fight Illithids if your mind is weak.
This time he had also learned how to mitigate the after effects of using Elements to avoid adverse effects upon his mind like before.
He even experimented with the Oblivion Element for it's unique property to either not interact or outright nullify powers it was applied upon, used pure Death elements to slowly kill the Illithid target and then used Samsara Element to bring the Target back temporarily- or used the element upon himself- only to recieve a massive Backlash that caused him to nearly die, after which Aavesh decided to slowly explore both Death and Samsara when he broke through Stage 2.
He would hide and meditate with the Maha Mrityunjay Mantra that helped eliminate unnecessary thoughts forming in his mind due to using Power of Absolute Elements.
So much had happened, he'd fought a lot and even learnt a lot! - In order to to keep things interesting, Coral generated books and small caches of information on tactics, history, Higher Dimensional Canons, etc.
You could say he'd kept hunting, hiding, reading and fighting.
This was his life, he'd also studied the Stealth Craft skills of the Yama Arts School while trying to improve all of his techniquesbwith various weapons that Coral had randomly generated all over the map.
Stealth Craft was not easy, as it required a Degree of high Dexterity on his skills while keeping a calm - controlled mind, besides stealth craft required special Hand Signs and Runes which formed the basis to properly learn something as advanced as Underworld Shadow and Death Mark.
But things did not remain interesting for long as Aavesh did not get food or sleep despite feeling the sensations for a long period of time.
He didn't know why he was able to survive - maybe due to meditation or his Augmentations or his absurdly powerful Mental Strength? He didn't know...
Now he was just mentally exhausted after he had pretty much covered most of the map which Coral had created and killed a lot of Illithids - mentally that is.
This should be over right?
*Rumble
Aavesh felt a Very impossibly powerful mental will from the ground.
He immediately turned and ran as the ground cracked in an Earthquake and several massive tentacles emerging from it- nah each tentacle could be said to be the size of a building.
If so how fucking huge was the thing behind the Tentacles?
*KAAAAABOOOOOOOOM!
*RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWR
The city sized map exploded as Aavesh desperately clung to large piece flying debris as his heart was filled with a primal fear- he knew what that thing was...
An Elder Brain! An Elder Fucking Brain!
In a Split Second he felt a never seen before Massive Mental power lock onto him in a snap.
Within an instant he became paralyzed, his grip failing as he fell towards the dark Abyss below.
His last vision, A Massive brain with countless skyscraper like Tentacles emerging towards him, before his mind was crushed with overwhelming power.
Everything became dark.
Light flashed before his eyes as he woke up with Coral's Assistance.
"That end was Terrifying - Damn I need to get this green flaky dried out fluid off my skin! So Itchy!", Aavesh slowly woke up groggily, as Coral activated the Cleansing function of the Nutrition Chamber.
5 minutes later, cleaned off all the filth, Aavesh decided not to immediately exit the Nutrition Chamber while Coral spoke,
"Well - Now you know the Horror of an Elder Brain, They can 'kill' you with Mental Power after all", Coral teased Aavesh a little bit.
"Hah very funny, Still I am mentally tired and need to rest- I have a long arduous day tomorrow Coral", Aavesh replied with tired Eyes.
"Let me assist you- I shall tune the settings here so you can have a Full Rest", Coral replied as she modified the Settings of Nutrition Chamber.
Aavesh closed his eyes and drifted off into a deep sleep.
--- Within his dream world, ---
Aavesh felt much better- his dream world was a soft Chilly Beach with warm sunlight, soft dreamy must floated around him and he wore casual yet comfortable clothes.
Aavesh lied down and closed his Eyes.
Suddenly fragments of information sifted into his mind.
"Your Physique ---"
"Special -"
"Angelic Blood and Agathic Blood---"
"Natural Empath----"
The voices suddenly changed'
"Danger... Ahead"
"Ten Tyrants cheat-"
"Your Soul---"
"Heart of Evil awaits-----"
*Snap
Aavesh snapped awake with wide eyes.
" oh man- that was bit - much", Aavesh wiped his eyes and got up from the pod.
He could not remember much of the words transmitted and could not figure out what had happened...
But these memories disappeared as soon as he tried to recollect as if someone had shifted his focus from it.
"Okay time to dress up and meet the Ten Tyrants", Aavesh quickly wore his Armor with Coral's Assistance and placed his Sword onto his backstrap scabbard.
" Let's have some breakfast first", Aavesh immediately walked out of the section and exited the N7 Labs - Finally.
Aavesh then retraced his way back with his earlier memories.
But when he entered the familiar cafeteria, he was stunned to see adult versions of his Fellow Wraith Knights, with Blood stained on their Armor- there was a tranquil hollowness and slight relief in their Eyes which Aavesh suddenly understood.
"I see you've taken your revenge - on a more personal basis with Quick aged bodies, They brought those people who you desired revenge and you all have executed them"
"I see you've taken the Neuro SIM Procedure as well", Aavesh spoke with a bit of sadness in his voice.
But the kids - or Physical Adults before him simply smiled.
"Was it worth it?", Aavesh asked.
"YES", the others spoke in unison without regret - with a firm tone in their voice.
'It was barely two days - Two Days, these guys got the option to sacrifice their future for revenge and didn't hesitate, they willingly took Super Maturity Drugs and Neuro SIM Procedures to kill their opponents - You all... *Sigh Those Brainwashing Aerosol Drugs really did their job well'
' But this has nothing to do with me, No matter what - Corvus and the Wraith Knights can never wash themselves of this innocent blood which has been manipulated to serve as sacrifice'
'Anyhow- it seems the Wraith Knights had been keeping tabs on all of the Culprits responsible for hurting Ansel, Angelo, Atohi, ErDa and Ekon- they fucking caught them in hours, not days but hours and brought them here to achieve loyalty from these brats'
'How Fucking Terrifying, these guys - they are masterminds when it comes to Psychological Manipulation- That's why the Entire Ho-Jax territory feared them- for causing so much Bloodshed when Rathiel Fell', Aavesh shivered inwardly at the last thought and now had a frightening feeling inside- These Guys never dared to show their full selves except for Sabine who was kind of broken on the inside- Corvus was truly topnotch in Psy Ops.
It seems blood is about to flow again in the Ho Jax Sector as Rathiel Deteriorates.
'But these kids... Nothing can be done now- they may not be their true selves anymore, I might just be seeing Victor's Variant Persona in them- No wonder I feel a sense of isolation and disfamiliarity from them, they no longer have the eyes of a Rookie, Newborn Calves- Their Child Persona is truly gone...', Aavesh momentarily mourned the passing of his temporary comrades in revenge who sacrificed their very Identity to achieve revenge.
"Well, what's done is done -lets have some food", Aavesh quickly changed the topic and began to dig in the Sumptuously Prepared Buffet.
Aavesh and the others ravenously dug in without restraint.
*Burp
Aavesh then gazed at the others and spoke," I will be leaving to face the Ten Tyrants - wish me luck.
"All the best", the othere spoke up immediately.
" Come Coral, we will report to Corvus and then go to meet with the Ten Tyrants", Aavesh got up as Coral floated behind him in her Polyhedron Form.
The Time has come for facing the Tyrants that were caging him in Rathiel.
'Tyrants? Well I'm a Liberator then- The Liberator of Law that crushes Tyranny under its feet's, Aavesh thought coldly as he stood outside Corvus's Office.
