I felt her. My mate, she was down here.

A few guards led me down the steps of the prison, the same place I had escaped from four years prior, thanks to Arisara.

Now, it was my turn to rescue her.

I was actually relieved to see her still alive down here. I was worried Prayut might have had her head already.

I passed Arisara’s cell, and she was standing at the bars as if she was anticipating me. I gave her a subtle wink, but I didn’t want the guards to know our relationship because it would only make things harder for us.

Unfortunately, I hadn’t had access to Muwang since I entered the premises, and I also feared the same could be said for Arisara and her wolf. There must have been a limiting spell originating around the palace that restricted our wolves because I was just speaking to Muwang on the train ride; nothing else could have caused him to disappear like that.
