“Khosit we need you on the perimeter. Now!” I turned my body around to hear who was talking and where the voice was coming from. It sounded like a guard, although they just summoned Kun Khosit through the entryway instead of bothering to walk down here.


“Wh-what should I do?” Kun Khosit asked me. I saw the concern in his eyes. After what I told him, after the promise I made to him, he seemed anxious to escape from Thonburi as quickly as possible.


The matter outside seemed urgent, and it wasn’t responsible to send him away to what could have been a dangerous situation, however, it also would stifle my plans to escape with Anurak if the guards came down to check on him and they saw me free from my cell.


“Tell him to go,” Anurak whispered. As far as Anurak knew, this man was simply a Thonburi guard—a puppet of my husband. He didn’t know Kun Khosit’s possible relation to Dtengmo. However, there wasn’t time to tell my mate this with so little time before our plan could be foiled.
