“Sir, step aways from da girl!” I heard Kun Lalisa’s voice demand loudly, although I couldn’t see her clearly in the dark of the night. Why was she here?


“She’s my little sister,” Kun Khosit defended. Now that he verified her face, it seemed Dtengmo was his sister after all.


“I’m not trusting ya unless ya got sum proof, boy,” Kun Lalisa countered. 


I heard my mate’s voice appear. “Beta, we should hear him out at least. And, what are you doing here? It’s unsafe for you. And you brought Dtengmo too?!” His thoughts were as jumbled as mine were. 


“Alph dawg, how’d you get outta your cell? Word got back that you waz locked up.” Everyone was talking over each other.


And I wondered, if Kun Lalisa was here with Dtengmo, then who was fighting outside of the palace?


“Dtengmo? That girl is Naang Fa. She is no watermelon,” Kun Khosit declared, reeling the conversation back to Dtengmo’s true identity.
